Okay, so we have a regular Ouendan-ish soundset, and a soft soundset... How about one that sounds kinda like the EBA soundset? I dunno how to generate sounds that sound like them, but if someone can do it, that'd be aaawesome.
I'm telling you, you should externalize the sound sets like you did the skins. The same thing will happen and people will start making them as they start messing with it.peppy wrote:
I might look at doing a third set soon . Unless soeone beats me to it, which would be even better! I guess this is a good time to note that if people make some original sound sets I will be happy to include them in the base osu! resources.
I already have, kind of. You can put sounds into a beatmap folder to test. Full support will be available after people actually make some.sanchny wrote:

hitnormal.wav
hitwhistle.wav
hitfinish.wav
sliderslide.wav
sliderwhistle.wav
slidertick.wav
spinnerspin.wav
spinnerbonus.wav
I tried doing this with some .wavs, but the sounds haven't changed. Bummer...peppy wrote:
Place any combination of these in a beatmap's folder. They can be wav or mp3, but make the extension .wav no matter what. wav files work best for short loops - ie. the slider slide and whistle.
