Regarding the streams you use, being that you're keeping it simple, you could use ddkkddkkd instead of kdddkdddk and a simple katu stream instead of the kdkdkdkdkdk. Especially since most of those clap noises in the song are 1/4 and whatnot.

All and all this feels overmapped and does not feel good at all. Sorry Zelos, but I really think that Taiko should be radically changed.

I'll make a Taiko of my own, not because I don't like Zelos's one but out of personal amusement so when I'm done I shall post it here, feel free to deny it. It's going to be sensibly easier than the Taikore but is still not going to qualify as a Muzukashii.

  1. I'm a big fan of HQ wallpapers. Yours is 640x480 and has pretty bad quality. Is there any chance you can get a higher quality version of the same background?
  2. Your approved version of the map has Remix with capital R. Perhaps you should capitalize it here as well.
  3. In [Reconnected], the Zelos in the tags is written with lowercase z, differing from the other difficulties. Capitalize that too, please.
[Easy]
  1. This could perfectly have AR 2, to make this as Easy as possible.
  2. 00:02:623 (2) - This is the only clap you used in this part of the song, so it's seems kind of isolated. I suggest removing it, or in any case, replacing it with a whistle.
  3. 00:21:798 (1) - Hello symmetry :3 Can you make it symmetrical and fix the DS a little?
  4. 00:27:308 (2,3) - Would be awesome if these were symmetrical, too. You might have to move the next two circles.
  5. 00:29:594 (4) - Shouldn't a clap follow the hitsound pattern here? Can you add one?
  6. Where are the hitsounds in the section from 00:31:308 to 00:58:165? It would feel sooo much better if you could try adding some hitsounds.
  7. 00:38:165 (3) - There's kind of an ugly overlap with the previous (1) there. And also...I'm a little nazi when it comes to slider composition~ This could be smoother, so I suggest beziering it this way:

  1. AR 3 feels great here, imo.
  2. Hitsounds seem a bit poor in comparison with [Easy] - for example, in the first part. I think you should do a hitsounds check and try to hitsound it better~
  3. 00:06:940 (1) - Why is there such a big jump here? Can you conserve normal spacing? Or at least, make it smaller.
  4. 00:21:798 (1,2) - It seems you had the intention to make these symmetrical :P You should know how to do this, but in the case you don't:
    SPOILER
    Copy (1) and paste it where (2) is, then remove the new combo and give it an horizontal flip (Ctrl + H) and then an inversion (Ctrl + R). You'll have to reposition (1) so that the spacing after the flip is consistent.
  5. 00:48:451 (3) - This slider is slightly uneven on the left:

  1. 00:02:084 (3) - I don't think this is needed. I mean, I think it would be fine with just two beats and would make the start a bit easier for a hard.
  2. 00:04:134 (2,1) - I would remove two repetitions from each slider, as (5) gets a liiittle hard and annoying to sight-read. After doing that, you could add two circles at 00:04:566 and 00:05:213. Looks good and works even better:

  3. 00:08:235 (5,1) - I was hoping to see the start of (5) more on the right bottom corner on the screen - t would flow muuch better. Try flipping these two vertically and moving them to that position. Hope you notice the difference~
  4. 00:12:444 (2) - I don't think this works so well, perhaps if the pattern was a little simpler... Try deleting this and adding a circle at 00:12:551, and tell me what you think.
  5. 00:21:445 (4,1) - I recommend placing this in some other way. The reason is that this is the first kick slider in the map with 2 repetitions, so it can be difficulty (if not impossible on first try) to UNDERSTAND it has 2 repetitions. I would suggest removing one repetition, making it hit 3 times, and then placing it so that (1) is stacked under (4)'s new end (or it's original starting point).
  6. 01:22:951 (1) - New combo, please (to make it easier to sight-read).
  7. 01:25:165 (1) - (^)
  8. 01:50:297 (1,2) - Some whistles here sound good, too!
[Insane]
  1. 00:50:879 (4) - No you don't stack this like this ever again ò.ó the slider never disappears and reappears, so you actually can't tell pretty well if there is another slider or not. Place it somewhere else! Like here:

  2. 00:56:022 (1) - This new combo seems pretty pointless, can you remove it? And also... The pattern doesn't flow so well. If I was you, I would redesign it ^^

  4. 00:59:736 (1) - It's nearly impossible to tell if there is a repetition in the end here. You know that's not good. Please move it more to the left.

  6. 01:09:879 (3,4) - Try inverting this circle's order - the mouse movement there is confusing, but if you invert them, it becomes more natural, as it is more, like, round.
  7. 01:50:541 (2) - Can you make this jump a liiiittle smaller? It's just about personal likes here, so you don't really have to do it if you don't want to :P
[Reconnected]
  1. Most of the elements that finish/are on a yellow tick (1/8ths) could and should end in blue ticks (1/4ths). As it is right now, I found this way too confusing to understand, and it is mostly due to so many 1/8ths. Mostly in the first part of the song.
    Hope you don't mind fixing this stuff~
  2. 00:03:271 (6) - A hitsound like a clap here would feel great to mark the beat, as all of this is quite confusing to play.
  3. 00:09:962 (9,10) - I don't think this is needed, (9) could be a longer slider that ends where (10) actually is, and it would follow the music better and all~
  4. 00:16:537 (5) - It feels as if you're missing a hit at 00:16:644, so I'd suggest moving this there and adding a circle where this currently starts.
  5. 00:18:487 (6) - It could be cool if you made this a slider that ended on the red tick, not leaving such a blank space to the next slider.
  6. 00:56:022 (1) - This slow down... I can't really say it in another way, it's pretty ugly AND doesn't play well. x0,75 should be just enough to create a good easing here (and by just enough I mean that even that is too damn slow).
  7. 01:39:276 (1,2,3) - Try soemthing like this, I don't think having (2) stacked is a good idea with such a speed up:
  8. 01:48:215 (3) - It's pretty difficulty to see this particular circle, and I can't say if it's intuitive or not cause I can't play it so well. Better ask a pro player about this, but in the meanwhile, you could try some other pattern.

Here's why: When I map, I try to follow a single musical line (element) as much as possible, if I have to skip parts of it, then I rather not map it. Seeing as this would create 2 holes at 00:04:458 and 00:05:105, where the jamming sound is played, I would rather not do this. The combo on the slider is because I feel that the 2nd jamming sounds is a part of the next section.

Originally there were 4 circles stacked on the slider start but everyone was telling me it's kinda hard. This way it's easier, and considering the placement logic I think it's safe to assume it's a double repeater. It's a hard diff after all, and nothing is hidden, so I think this works good enough.

Also, I find the slider velocity change quite brutal, and not always clearly visible/intuitive. I know it's supposed to be a mean map but ... owell. Just sayin.

  2. The image displayed on the web for this map is the Taiko background. I don't think that's intentional. You might have not noticed because your the old image is still in your cache. Try deleting it and you'll see.
Because of both things, you'll have to Full Submit after this mod.

  1. 00:08:667 (4) - I think the new combo should be here and not in the next slider.
  2. 00:12:120 (3) - And following what I said on the last point, new combo here.
  3. 01:05:594 (3) - I don't like too much how the clap at the beginning of this sounds. Consider removing it and placing a whistle instead. Also, a clap in the repetition could fit pretty well the music.

  1. 00:22:697 - 01:07:594 - Still no hitsounds in this section? There are hitsounds in Easy, that's enough to leave a feeling of inconsistency.

They're fine if you ask me. They're only hidden, and it's not like they have repeats (Basic logic follows that "If repeat sliders cannot have their repeat hidden, then if the end of a slider is hidden, it has no repeat").

Stuff done. I can believe him when he said it'd be a pain to do manually - it was a pain for me! Followed the instructions to the letter.

Of course, any people that already have this map will need to re-download.


(Originally had a slight hiccup where the client told me that the Unconnected diff was already ranked with the rest not, but it was minor!)
