00:00:519 (1,2) - Time Distance Equality, the act of reflecting the gap between a note/ rhythm through the spacing. Because this is a 1/4 gap, it should not have the same spacing as a 1/2 nor 3/4 gap
00:00:825 (2) - There's no sound for the slider end to map too. I suggest replacing it with a circle
00:01:131 (3,4) - Same thing here with TDE. There should be a difference in spacing
00:01:335 (4,5) - Instead of having a gap of time, you could map 4 and 5 as a slider? Keep 6 where it is as players can move back to it./
00:02:151 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Apply the above these patterns
00:05:723 (2) - Over mapping. There are no sounds on the 1/4 beats
00:05:416 (1,2,3) - All 5 of these 1/2 notes have a strong sound associated with them. At least make the last one a hit circle!
Suggestion:
00:08:478 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Try increasing the SV and/or increasing the hit sound volume, as the piano gains so intensity here.
00:10:110 (1,2,3,4) - TDE
00:12:253 (1,2,3,4) - TDE
00:13:580 (1) - The sudden lowering of the SV doesn't quite reflect that first piano strike. Try releasing the slider on the first white tick (slider ends don't hold as much value) and place a note where the slider end is. Go from there
00:15:008 (2) - Overmapping, replace with hit circle.
00:16:029 (1,2,3,4) - TDE and Overmapping
00:17:661 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - THIS IS GOOD. You followed TDE and Mapped to the rhythm. This is what you have to aim for.
00:19:090 (3,1) - A little bit to the rigth compared to the prior triangle?
00:19:906 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - TDE
00:23:376 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - As the intensity grows, you could reflect this through an increasing in spacing, or use sliders and increase SV
00:29:090 (1,2,3,4) - CRESCENDO! There is a huge build up here. REFLECT IT IN THE CIRCLES MAN XD
00:29:906 (1,2,3) - Forte-Piano. Sorry, I feel like using musical terms lul. Here the intensity dropped like a bomb. All the engery from the build up? It just got muffled out and is clench in someone hand. Ok, now take that image, and try and reflect it in the song. As little movement as possible, but still following the rhythm and all
TLDR: Map with less spacing and show the intensity drop
00:35:825 (1,2,3) - The build up starts here! Increase the spacing or something!
00:36:437 - So here the melody starts. You upped the SV nice, but you didn't quite reflect it in your mapping. Force more movement upon the player here.
So I've probably gone over enough about TDE and overmapping by now. There are a lot of unreadable spacing and extra notes. I won't address those from here, and I'll address other things for now.
00:37:457 (4,5) - The slider end of object 5 is the strong sound of the next measure. These "strong sounds" should almost always have a circle to hit upon them. There are some exception, such as 00:37:457 (4). This works since it's still leading into a stronger sound.
00:39:498 (4) - Same thing
00:45:212 (6,7) - This is very difficult to read and for a 4 star map, this kind of overlapping should not be present
00:48:784 (4) - Try bringing this object down and right a little to supply a curve. ( I kind of liked this pattern
)
Example:
00:50:110 (3) - Blanket can be improved.
00:51:540 (1) - No strong sound here
00:52:763 (2,3) - You could try overlapping these slider ends
00:56:641 (3,4) - These are doubles. I don't recommend spacing them out like this
00:58:274 (2,3) - Same thing (These would be acceptable in a higher star rating map though.... Maybe...)
00:59:906 (2,3) - Same thing (aggh... They're fun to play but belong in this diff :/)
01:02:151 (5,6) - While I did talk about overmapping, this is acceptable (I think). It's high intensity so filler rhythms are ok. you also leading into the next rhythm
01:03:172 (2,3,4,5) - Doubles stuff
01:07:049 (8) - You should map a hit circle on where the slider end is.
01:13:580 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - When mapping streams, I highly recommend the "Slider to Streams" tool. (ctrl+shift+f).
01:18:070 (4) - Remember to repeat patterns. Right before this you had this major buzz slider. It's the same rhythm, so why not have that here as well?
01:20:825 (2,3,4,5,6) - While I like the idea, this shouldn't be done with this rank of diff. TDE
01:23:172 (4,5,6) - violins start on the White tick!
01:23:784 - Obviously there is alot of overmapping in the kiai time. The triples must go.
01:35:621 (1,2,3,4) - To generate shapes, I suggest using the "Circular Polygon Generator" tool (ctr+shift+D). There are a craaaaap ton of tools in the editor. Look them up
01:45:621 (4,5) - For these kinds of rhythms, try blankets
Example:
01:48:580 (4,5,6,7,1) - Try and avoid mapping that is hard to read like this in a lower Star Diff map.
01:50:212 (1,1,1) - No need for NC
01:51:947 (1,3) - Ya might want to check you SV here...
So ya... there has been quite a bit to say over the course of 2 minutes. I don't mean to slack off or anything, but there are alot of repeated mistake throughout the map. I'm sure in time you'll learn to address them
From here I'll just skim over some major points across the map.
03:09:906 - kiai time could end here due to the vocals beginning to leave. Also the intensity is still here, so you don't have to map like all intensity was lost here.
04:24:804 (1,2) - Whoa there
04:39:090 (1) - No need for this note. The spinner ends it nicely
All in all, you just have to learn those basics such as TDE, not overmapping, and general use of the editor. Not bad man ^^
