Hello! Here for the m4m:

[A r M i N's Easy]

00:07:744 (2,3) - I feel like a 1/2 beat slider followed by a 1/1 beat slider would represent this better, and make it so noobies wouldn't have to start a slider on the offbeat
00:14:029 (1,2) - Might look better if this was blanketed
00:15:172 (3,1) - The sliders are touching :x
00:16:029 (1,2) - Blanket could be cleaner

[Real's Normal]

Nothing to say here

[Yahuri's Hard]

00:07:172 (1) - Might look nicer to use this to complete this 00:06:029 (3,4,5,6) shape
00:14:601 (2,3,4) - Would probably look cleaner if the spacing was equal, since its such a small spacing change
00:15:744 (5,6,1) - ^

[Princess]

00:01:458 (4,5) - Blanket spacing is noticably different from 00:00:315 (2,3)
00:27:029 (4,5,6) - Awkward to read these because of how they're stacked when they're really just the same sounds as 00:26:601 (1,2,3), might be nicer to make them spaced
00:20:315 (7,1) - Might be better for this to have the same spacing as 00:22:601 (3,1)?

Thats all from me, GL!

00:07:744 (2,3) - I feel like a 1/2 beat slider followed by a 1/1 beat slider would represent this better, and make it so noobies wouldn't have to start a slider on the offbeat agree armin plz change
00:14:029 (1,2) - Might look better if this was blanketed
00:15:172 (3,1) - The sliders are touching :x
00:16:029 (1,2) - Blanket could be cleaner fixed both on your behalf =D

[Real's Normal]

[Princess]

00:01:458 (4,5) - Blanket spacing is noticably different from 00:00:315 (2,3) fixed the hexgrid in the intro
00:27:029 (4,5,6) - Awkward to read these because of how they're stacked when they're really just the same sounds as 00:26:601 (1,2,3), might be nicer to make them spaced changed this pattern around
00:20:315 (7,1) - Might be better for this to have the same spacing as 00:22:601 (3,1)? nah its fine nobody misreads this anyway cuz of song structure + expectation of rhythm + NCing anyway

Thats all from me, GL!

00:07:172 (1) - Might look nicer to use this to complete this 00:06:029 (3,4,5,6) shape remapped some of this, doesnt apply anymore
00:14:601 (2,3,4) - Would probably look cleaner if the spacing was equal, since its such a small spacing change i use this spacing in multiple places. its for NCs without vocals, but i do it here because of the increasing intensity of the vocals.
00:15:744 (5,6,1) - ^ same
thanks, but no changes

sup, some tips

  • A r M i N's Easy
  1. Your background is called "chain.jpg" in code, but when i download I did not find this picture (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8402935)
  2. 00:04:029 - i dont think that this moment is intense enough for a Finish, and in 00:04:887 - is quite a bit intense for a whistle, maybe you can invert the hitsounds of these moments
  3. In 00:00:887 - you have added a Clap, but in 00:10:029 - even though they are similar moments in music you have added the clap in 00:10:315 (2) -, have any reason for that?
  4. 00:11:458 (4) - same than 00:02:029 - /\
  5. Both these moments 00:10:315 (2,4) - are the only moments you haven't added the clap in the correct 2/4 and 4/4 white tick in the map, please do it more consistent
The map itself looks very well polished, nothing to change

    Real's Normal

  6. 00:00:029 (1,2) - The only other moment you use this stack are in 00:27:744 (1,2,3) - and for me both looks In totally different situations, one is a 1/1 timing distance that looks confortable with this semi-stack and the other is in the start of the song that maybe will not feel so nice, of course this is just an opinion but this semi-stack with just one circle isn't good in my opinion 00:00:029 (1) -, maybe stacking in 00:02:601 (1) - can be more consistent, like no semi-stack in 1/2 timing distance, just in 1/1 in all the map, you may disagree
  7. 00:21:458 (2,3) - you can do a non-linear line in 00:21:887 (3) - as you have done in 00:19:601 (3) -, looks more consistent
  8. 00:29:744 (4) - This can be changed just for a circle, of course have a song extended until 00:30:029 - but as before you have ignored the guitar in 00:27:744 (1,2) -, maybe can be a good idea, and looks more confortable for play just a circle than a slider starting in a red tick and finishing in a big white, looks a bit strange (this is the only situation that have happen in all map)
    good map

    Yuri's Hard

  9. 00:06:601 (5,1) - In the other transitions between a circle and a new combo slider (like 00:09:172 (8,1) - 00:13:744 (8,1) - 00:22:887 (7,1) - etc) you have increased a bit the distance, is a good choice for me but you haven'd done it in this moment, have any special reason?
hm nothing more special to say, really solid map

    Princess

  10. 00:10:601 (1) - The New combo and the Finish are unecessary, like you have done in 00:01:458 (4) -
  11. Starting in 00:13:744 - and until 00:17:172 - all the new combos have a wrong place, you are using the red tick before the big white tick (the more important tick in the song), i recommend you change the new combos like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8403285
good luck!

[General:]
  • Background is past the maximum dimensions.
[Easy:]
  • Turn on the countdown to be consistent.
[Normal:]
  • You're missing combo colours.
00:21:887 (3,4,5,1) - Square is a little warped for me. Maybe move (1) up a bit?
00:27:744 (1,2,3,4) - I don't like this stacking at all. It's hard to read and doesn't really fit as well as sliders do.
I would add at least one spinner at the end to help keep the scoreboard more competitive. Starting 00:27:744 - like Armin did.
[Hard:]
  • This difficulty is missing tags.
I would add at least one spinner at the end to help keep the scoreboard more competitive. Starting 00:27:744 - like Armin did. Otherwise, 00:29:744 (3) - is better as a circle imo.
[Zero Effort Map no Hime:]
  • I would add at least one spinner at the end to help keep the scoreboard more competitive. Starting 00:27:744 - like Armin did.
00:02:887 (2,3,4) - Switch when two and three are played to improve flow from 00:02:030 (5,1) - .
    00:04:315 (5,1) - Swtich for improved flow.
00:06:315 (2,3) - Ur not pishi stop it. space these more to differ from your triplet. This doesn't play very well at all and isn't a necessary pattern.
00:11:744 (1,2,3,4) - More spacing between one and the triangle so it's readable.
    00:18:315 (4,2) - Stack?
00:20:315 (7,1) - really? reeeaaaaly? Please just space it properly.
00:26:887 (3,4) - I would remove this stack as it's the only stack in the whole song and nothing that sounded similar got one.
00:29:744 (1) - Circle adds more emphasis on the final vocal.
[Afteword:]
  • You couldn't even be bothered to make more than one diff? >_> Jesus christ.

00:02:887 (2,3,4) - Switch when two and three are played to improve flow from 00:02:030 (5,1) - . but its a 1/1 gap >.> if it was 1/2 i'd agree
00:04:315 (5,1) - Swtich for improved flow. wot i think that would be more uncomfortable.. beside this takes emphasis off of 00:04:172 - cuz that one doesnt need emphasis
00:06:315 (2,3) - Ur not pishi stop it. space these more to differ from your triplet. This doesn't play very well at all and isn't a necessary pattern. i think it plays fine, the sudden slow down in cursor movement represents how the vocals drop in intensity here
00:11:744 (1,2,3,4) - More spacing between one and the triangle so it's readable. its distance snapped here, and i use similar spacing in other places, plus this rhythm should be expected by now from the song
    00:18:315 (4,2) - Stack?
00:20:315 (7,1) - really? reeeaaaally? Please just space it properly. it is spaced properly. 7 is the climax of the instrument so 1 is small spacing after it..
00:26:887 (3,4) - I would remove this stack as it's the only stack in the whole song and nothing that sounded similar got one. fixed

this song is

TRASH

[Princess]
- 00:11:744 (1,2,3,4) - visual spacing please the 1 is so far away
- 00:20:029 (5,6,7,1) - is this supposed to be increasing in spacing cuz if not it looks weird

[Yahuri's Hard]
- 00:20:172 - this seems like a triple worth mapping cuz snare is on it and it was mapping for most of the map already// 00:22:458 - 00:23:601 -

[Real's Normal]
- 00:00:315 (2) - nc cuz the song actually starts here?

are you serious what even is there to say about these maps

[Armin's Easy]
- 00:08:601 (3,4) - i'd ctrl+g this to get the snare clickable and since the head doesn't have much on it
- 00:17:744 (3) - maybe delete this for emphasis on the previous and next note (and for a break somewhere?)

nao stop mapping 30 second maps i can't find anything meaningful to say for these

00:05:887 (5,1,2,3) - I'm not too sure what to make of this pattern. 1,2,3 use the same spacing as 00:05:887 (5,1) despite being a different snap and it throws you off at first when transitioning (tho it's also acceptable the way it is because reasons). I do think the low spacing for 1/2 beats is kinda meh

also remember to revert back the NC patterning as discussed on discord ;)

sup, some tips

  • Real's Normal
  1. 00:00:029 (1,2) - The only other moment you use this stack are in 00:27:744 (1,2,3) - and for me both looks In totally different situations, one is a 1/1 timing distance that looks confortable with this semi-stack and the other is in the start of the song that maybe will not feel so nice, of course this is just an opinion but this semi-stack with just one circle isn't good in my opinion 00:00:029 (1) -, maybe stacking in 00:02:601 (1) - can be more consistent, like no semi-stack in 1/2 timing distance, just in 1/1 in all the map, you may disagree this does make sense, but both stacks are used where there are little to no instruments, so i guess it kinda fits imo
  2. 00:21:458 (2,3) - you can do a non-linear line in 00:21:887 (3) - as you have done in 00:19:601 (3) -, looks more consistent changed some patterning here
  3. 00:29:744 (4) - This can be changed just for a circle, of course have a song extended until 00:30:029 - but as before you have ignored the guitar in 00:27:744 (1,2) -, maybe can be a good idea, and looks more confortable for play just a circle than a slider starting in a red tick and finishing in a big white, looks a bit strange (this is the only situation that have happen in all map) yeah as nao said i can't do this, need to have 30s drain time
    good map

00:27:744 (1,2,3,4) - I don't like this stacking at all. It's hard to read and doesn't really fit as well as sliders do. ehh id really like to keep the stack here, i think it emphasizes the vocals quite well though if more people disagree on it i can change it
I would add at least one spinner at the end to help keep the scoreboard more competitive. Starting 00:27:744 - like Armin did. i don't think a spinner really fits here at all tbh

thanks, but no changes

apparently i sent u the wrong code earlier idk fixed again from other post

@kisses i redid some of my nc'ing to make it clear when the snapping changes from 1/2 to 1/1 - this is then introduced by the pattern you brought up, so that issue is resolved hopefully.

  1. Spacing inconsistencies in this map can throw off a lot of players (it's only a 3.6* map). You can try to NC stuff to make things easier to read, but sometimes it forces NCs on places that doesn't match the music, like you did at 00:20:601 (1) - when the NC should be on the next note.
  2. 00:11:744 (1,2,3,4) - ^
  3. Seeing how 00:16:029 (1,2,3,4) - is part of the same pattern as 00:13:744 (1,2,3,4) - & 00:14:887 (1,2,3,4) - but the vocals are completely different on 00:16:029 (1,2,3,4) - , so i think the pattern should differ there.
  4. 00:18:029 (2,3,4,5,1) - hard to play for a 3.6*
As far as map spread goes, Easy diff should have lower star rating.
Other than that, other diffs looks fine

Hope this helps xD

  1. No metadata links, had to confirm it myself:
    http://oneroom-anime.com/products_cat/disc_roommate/
So you have the Romanized artist but the original song features their names in JP, so you might wanna fix that:
    葦原巧(CV:前野智昭) 仁科葵(CV:花江夏樹) 宮坂真也(CV:鳥海浩輔)
The Romanized title is currently “Kimi Iro Smile” I’m pretty sure you need to double check that since I’m not familiar with the rule about mixing Romanized words with foreign languages since at first glance the title rominized would be “Sumairu”
  2. You should the Japanese name of the show , ルームメイト , in the tags since you’re using “RoomMate” as the source.
  3. Would be great that the map density went along with the song more often, especially in terms of taking advantages of the 1/1 pauses it contains on vocal to help new players out, such as 00:17:458 - ~ 00:18:029 - /00:04:029 - ~ 00:04:601 - . If the spread is currently good, this definitely can improve that specially if applied in the easy and normal diffs.

[ A r M i N's Easy]
  1. The finish here 00:04:029 – sounds really off and so it goes with the following; 00:06:029 (3) - / 00:09:172 (4) -/ 00:10:601 (3) –
And a lot of important transition sounds were not finished hitsounded like this one 00:27:744 (1) -
  2. Shouldn’t it be a clap here 00:08:887 – instead of the whistle? You’re clapping every second and third white ticks and switches here when song is pretty much the same.
[Real’s Normal]
  1. It seems hitsounding of this diff is copied and it’s the same of easy, so you can check what was mentioned there.
  2. I don’t get the reason behind this repeat here 00:26:601 (3) - , the blue tick there doesn’t have anything that worthy to emphasize to put a repeat, it’s not even hitsouded for any rhythm purposes so this is really off compared to the diff overall. At least imo, maybe you have some reason, but it’s not clear enough to me, sorry.

[Yuri’s Hard]
  1. If you want your diff to be consistent with others so far, you need to NC this 00:00:315 (2) -
  2. Making the same pattern and rhythm 00:18:029 (4,5,6,7,1) - cover instrumentals only section 00:18:029 (4,5) – and vocal+instrumentals 00:18:314 (6,7,1) – seems to make the pattern loose the representation it could have. My suggestion is that you keep the circle to vocals there and change this 00:18:029 (4,5) – into a slider.

[ Princess ]
  1. If you want your diff to be consistent with others so far, you need to NC this 00:00:315 (2) -
  2. Finish spam is good for emphasis, but if your finishes all sound the same 00:08:744 (4,1,2,1) – the transition one 00:09:458 (1) – has some emphasis lost. Imo that finish hitsound patterning works a ton better if you use two different samples of cymbal crash.
  3. That spacing tho 00:19:601 (4,5,6,7,1) - , didn’t know you liked to map hard to read patterns.
    So far most of the 1/2 were covered with decent amount of spacing 00:02:030 (5,1) -/00:03:172 (4,1) -/00:04:315 (5,1,2) –/00:07:744 (2,1) -/00:08:744 (4,1) -/00:10:315 (3,4) -/00:11:458 (6,1) -/00:12:315 (4,1) -/00:13:744 (1,2) -/00:14:601 (4,1) -/00:15:744 (4,1,2) -
Exception is this slow down section 00:05:887 (5,1,2,3,4) – that works just fine. However in this case 00:20:315 (7,1,2) – you already are in the slow down section once again and spacing were kept the same or you can even say that it has increased at some points 00:19:029 (2,3,4) -, and you have 3 consecutive 1/4 00:19:601 (4,5,6) – to break it here afterwards 00:20:315 (7,1) -. Consider re-working this a bit

Mapset looks fine mostly. I hate the song but well, musical taste :3 . I'll to get to the other map in the weekend. GL o/

thanks for looking!

  2. 00:11:744 (1,2,3,4) - ^
  3. Seeing how 00:16:029 (1,2,3,4) - is part of the same pattern as 00:13:744 (1,2,3,4) - & 00:14:887 (1,2,3,4) - but the vocals are completely different on 00:16:029 (1,2,3,4) - , so i think the pattern should differ there. yes, the vocals are different, and if i wasn't spamming triangle patterns everywhere i would change this but, it's still part of the same vocal phrase and the underlying instruments are the same, and the triangle thing is central to all of the patterns in the map, so changing it here would be against that theme.
  4. 00:18:029 (2,3,4,5,1) - hard to play for a 3.6* if i remove everything that's hard to play fr 3.6 star then it won't be 3.6 stars loool
As far as map spread goes, Easy diff should have lower star rating.

Consider re-working this a bit reworked a lot so now all wide angle +nc = 1/2 gap lol

Mapset looks fine mostly. I hate the song but well, musical taste :3 . I'll to get to the other map in the weekend. GL o/

  2. Making the same pattern and rhythm 00:18:029 (4,5,6,7,1) - cover instrumentals only section 00:18:029 (4,5) – and vocal+instrumentals 00:18:314 (6,7,1) – seems to make the pattern loose the representation it could have. My suggestion is that you keep the circle to vocals there and change this 00:18:029 (4,5) – into a slider. makes sense, appleid

Hi second mod

p rinc ess
• 00:17:172 (5) - nc should be moved here to stay consistent with 00:14:887 (1,1) - (you use the nc right after the 1/4 jumps)

Hard
• 00:05:458 (2,3) - I dont like how circle 3 is placed next to slider 2, it doesn't look like it flows visually well. Moving it up so that it's in line with either part of slider 2 (the tail or the rest of the slider body) would look nicer

Normal and Easy, and mp3 look okay, all very polished. (I might be flammed for asking but would the bg be considered "safe?" If something like haitai was considered an edge case I wouldn't know about this, but the haitai case was also just fucking dumb)

Good luck! :D

Hi second mod

• 00:17:172 (5) - nc should be moved here to stay consistent with 00:14:887 (1,1) - (you use the nc right after the 1/4 jumps) ya but here its clear that 00:17:458 (1) - is the start of a new phrase adn i dont want a 1 circle nc

(I might be flammed for asking but would the bg be considered "safe?" If something like haitai was considered an edge case I wouldn't know about this, but the haitai case was also just fucking dumb) yolo

Good luck! :D

what a gay bg. tbh I wouldn't call it really safe. imo it isn't what we mean "all ages". better to change it.

i watched the anime just now and i can confirm the background is a pretty darn accurate representation of the anime
