03:41:081 (1,2) - distance here just doesn't work. needs to be more easily walkable if that's what you're going for.
03:54:976 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - why did you map these as 1/8 but not 04:00:029 (1,1) - ? if anything, 03:54:976 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - should be mapped as 1/4 streams.
04:56:555 (1,2) - based on all of your pattern usage in this section, there shouldn't be a hyper dash here.

these are the only noteworthy suggestions i had, everything else is too small to worry about. good map, patterns work nicely imo. good luck!

I designed this with a dash in mind. And out from what i have seen when people have tested it, they have dashed here.

  1. 00:23:397 (2,1) - a bit unexpected distance compared to the previous small distances between the sliders, consider reducing a bit
  2. 00:45:423 (5,1) - I think this can be a hyper and 00:45:502 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - you can add more distance to compensate to the intensity building up
  3. 01:39:502 (1,2,3) - mind explaining why you chose hyperchain?
  4. 01:42:660 (1,2,3) - same here but this one is even more random than the above cause this one isn't building up to anything.
  5. 01:53:713 (1,2,1) - kind of wrong emphasisement, should be a hyper between 2,1 and not 1,2
  6. 01:59:081 (1,2,1) - and here also, why? There's nothing standing out here
  7. 02:51:186 (1,1) - a hyper here would be appropriate
  8. 03:18:976 (1,2,3,4) - this is VERY hard on antiflow
  9. 04:01:765 (2,1,2,3) - maybe try having a more back and forth playing hyperdashes and not just having 3 hypers to the same direction, I think that will look visually better with the different beat snapping
  10. 04:06:976 (1,2,3) - 04:07:607 (1,2,3) - like my problem with these hyperchains is that they're not consistent at all, they feel really random which is imo bad

Hello friends! I don't feel this map is ready to be qualified. My general concern is that the entirety of the map is too overdone. Sometimes, hyperdashes feel random or emphasizing nothing, the beginning of the song has sliders mapped to things i could barely hear, and some stream shapes directly affect the playability of the map at various points. It's a cool map, but I can't see this being a good fit for the ranked section.

  6. Timeline Issues : NC issues, splashing every 4 fruits is not okay
  7. Combo Colors : Combo 4 (the light blue) feels really out of place. I'd suggest trying something new. Same with Combo 1. The colors would be better off being darker to match the background, rather than vibrant or bright.

  10. Unused Files / Other : Overemphasis and poor structure in some cases

  1. In my opinion, everything before 00:15:976 - is really unnecessary and doesn't fit well at all. You've mapped very abstract sounds that don't fit much aside from things you have to try really hard to hear in some cases, which a player shouldn't be worrying about while playing a map. Adding a spinner at 00:15:976 - feels like a much better option to me.
  2. 00:18:660 (2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - 5 seconds with no pattern variance is a bit too much for me. Some changes in direction would be welcomed in sections like this. Also, there's no need to new combo every 2 times. It creates way too unnecessary fruit splashes.
  3. 00:27:818 (1) - Has a really unique sound on it but you've just mapped it as a normal slider. Adding some sort of buzz or abnormal curve to the slider would help bring it out as something important.
  4. Speaking of this section, from 00:25:292 - to 00:35:239 - , you just map a pattern and then flip it in the next section. This definitely could use some work in variety, as for now, it's just copypaste and that doesn't seem very creative to me.
  5. 00:35:397 (1) - This curve has a pretty shallow entrance to it, which can make the first droplets harder to hit. Giving a stronger curve to start this slider would help out a lot. Also, the slider is almost entirely on the left side. For a super long slider such as this, creating more area to move around with would be more beneficial.
  6. 00:41:871 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - More needless NC spam
  7. 00:41:713 (1,1) - No need for this to be a HDash by the way, there's nothing really to emphasize besides the change from single notes to triplets. Too unimportant to be having a cross screen HDash to. A normal dash would suffice for sure.
  8. Same with things like 00:42:818 (2,1) - , 00:43:450 (2,1,2) - , etc. There's no representable change in music besides the volume increasing which definitely does not call for such hyperdashes, especially in such a calm part of the song.
  9. 00:44:397 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,1) - The only hdash here that I can really see as something worth hdashing to is 00:45:345 (4,5,1) - , because there is a very noticeable shift in the pace of the song worthy of having an hdash.
  10. For the next section, it's a lot of the same thing. What happens between 00:47:870 (4,1) - that deserves an hdash? There's no change in the music to signify anything worth emphasis. Also, you have more NC spams with 00:48:028 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - that need to be fixed.
  11. 00:48:976 (2,1) - And again..
  12. And so on with 00:50:239 (2,1) - etc etc.
  13. Also, you're copypasting more things again with 00:48:028 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - which I don't believe should be promoted in maps.
  14. 00:54:819 (4,1,2,3,4) - Not sure why the distance is increasing again when it's the same as when it was at 00:54:345 (1,2,3) - . The effect is cool, you should just execute it a bit better.
  15. 00:55:607 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - NC's. I'm not gonna point out NC's anymore. There shouldn't be a NC every 4 notes, it overkills the fruit splash effect. 8-12 fruits is perfectly fine.
  16. 00:55:607 (1,2,1,2) - Nothing here really should be hdashed. The first shift in music comes at 00:56:239 (1) - , which for some reason is NOT currently hdashed.
  17. 00:56:871 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - Why is the distance getting lower when the song is getting louder???? If anything, these should be swapped with the previous patterns to signify a volume change.
  18. 00:58:765 (1,1) - No movement here when there should definitely be some.
  19. 01:00:423 - Why is there not another slider here? The sound is the same but it's just empty.
  20. 01:02:555 (1,2,3,4) - Curve could be improved
  21. 01:02:871 (1,2,1) - Rough movement here where distance could definitely be decreased, 01:03:029 (2) - definitely causes some flow issues.
  22. 01:08:160 (4,1) - Pretty bad transition, the accelerated stream at 01:07:924 (1,2,3,4) - causes the antiflow at 01:08:239 (1) - to play really poorly, just some standard flow would be nicer here.
  23. 01:25:292 (1) - Just a small thing but I'd probably tilt this a bit less
  24. 01:27:186 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Previously you've used a lot smaller distances and now this is across the screen, a reduction is definitely necessary
  25. 01:37:607 (1,2,1,2) - not sure why when the song is calming down slightly that you throw in the most difficult part of the map with the reverse stairs

00:25:292 - to 00:35:239 - i know it seems lazy and all. But i feel like how it was mapped (even tho it is flipped) fits the song very well imo. But i did change the slider you mentioned to 1/8 steam to compliment the sound.

00:42:818 (2,1) - , 00:43:450 (2,1,2) - yes i know. But as you might guess, i wanted to empathize the volume change here. I personally see it fit.

00:44:397 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,1) - keeping for consistensy. And i wanted this part to be like this due to the change in music volume. Again, something i see fit

00:47:870 (4,1) - Fixed NC spam. But gonna keep hdash

If you look at my style of mapping, suggests to execute the 1/3 sounds to its fullest here. This is also the reason i decided to map this song, due to the 1/3 section. Im not gonna add or remove anything from it, its has constant 1/3 sound troughout the whole thing. And it fits perfectly imo. Most is also empathized right.

Same I could also say with Razor Sharp's version. Also good mapped part. This is comes as a personal opinion but I'm not okay with 03:39:818 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - Especially these 4 last sliders they're anti-flowed and when I play it even on my livestream I'm always getting confused how to mash it. Either just spam left and right with no dash or just standing it. So yeah I possibly recommend you to just rotate these 4 sliders. But it is your choice so I do not mind if you deny it. Im gonna let this part stay as it is. It is designed with the decreasing volume in mind, and for the first 4 sliders you can hold dash, then on the last 2 you choose yourself if you dont want to move or not.

  4. 00:51:503 (7) - 00:52:766 (7) - please move further in to the playfield, please don't put notes any closer than ~20 pixels from the border
  5. 00:55:607 - Your reply to Ascendance's mod regarding this stream is not satisfying at all; "Yes even tho it maybe dont fit. It is a cool effect. Hence the reason i did it. If you're gonna have hypers here I suggest you at least put them to the white ticks, meaning between 00:55:765 (2,3) - 00:56:081 (4,1) - because they are at least a tiny bit noticeable than the red ticks in terms of the strength. 00:56:871 (1) - From here on you should map the to the intensity of the music meaning start with lower distance and increase them appropriately
  6. 00:59:950 (2,3,4) - These hypers don't fit at all and 01:00:423 (4,1) - is way too harsh with antiflow, the beats aren't THAT strong.
  7. 01:25:292 (1) - I agree with Ascendance on this, tilting it like 01:24:976 (2) - would play a lot better and also fit the music better. The music doesn't change at all so doesn't make sense to make this a wiggle cause nothing stands out in the music.
  8. 01:28:292 (3,1) - This beat is really strong and barely has any distance at all compared to the surrounding hypers.

And i personally dont want to ruin the intensity of these patterns with wub empathizment.

so yeah, razor decided to update and pop the bubble benny gave to the map so that I could bub and benny could qualify it instead.

In short, we went through the whole map, revised the whole "overmapping" thing that was going on until now, made it a bit less overmapped and basically nerfed it a tad on some sections so that it wasn't so overdone (especially on the 1/3 section of the map, which also had some questionable pattern usage that came out to be just simple improvisation on razor's side, said pattern usage was fixed accordingly).
Also got him a louder soft-hitnormal since the one he had was basically unaudible, and muted the sliderticks since they were unfitting and stood out more, especially in the beginning.

Hey there friends, I personally don't believe my concerns were properly addressed before qualifying this map. Most concerns were replied to pretty poorly as well, and the ending (and in a more narrow sense, the kiais themselves) still seems overdone completely. In short, the map just doesn't feel ready for the ranked category. I'm going to go through places where I feel need significant improvements, but I won't write another big mod again because everything just gets declined anyway. It's a very anti-improvement way to do things, and I don't support it whatsoever.

  1. 00:21:187 (5,1) - Structure randomly changes from circles to sliders here, not to mention these sliders have no movement in comparison to the constant movement you promoted with the circles. There's nothing that suggests this change, so the inconsistency is apparent.
  2. 00:42:976 - Strong sound is left on a sliderend with no hyper to it, which makes every slider repeat past this (00:43:134 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - ) all end on strong sounds. Not really acceptable rhythmically, since the strong sounds should have a dash to them or a hdash as you've been doing. I also didn't really agree with your reasoning behind keeping it, "I think it fits" doesn't help me much, but I don't care entirely
  3. Your explanation for adding hdashes between 00:47:870 (8,1) -, 00:48:976 (4,1) - , and so on is also not satisfactory to me. There's no musical change that warrants anything like this, so saying "I think it fits" doesn't work at all. It's just overdone.
  4. 00:57:660 (2,3) - The transition here doesn't make much sense to me, the music doesnt change much, but I also don't really know how to fix it. Just feels awkward
  5. 01:08:160 (8,1) - The antiflow movement still feels bad to me. Not much here constitutes such a high speed antiflow pattern, just a normal hdash would be fine to me.
  6. 01:18:265 (8,1) - This should have an HDash if you want to maintain consistency with the sounds you're HDashing to later on.
  7. 01:23:081 (5,6) - Still not sure why these hdashes are split like this
  8. 01:24:660 (1,2,1) - These really shallow, low-movement streams are really bad to play coming out of a fast section imo

  13. Inconsistency is rampant throughout these stream parts, you have things like 01:58:765 (1,2) - vs. 01:59:397 (1,2) - , 02:11:397 (1,2) - vs. 01:51:186 (1,2) - , it's just not organized very well at all.
  14. 02:02:239 (3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - Not sure why this stream is split up at all, the previous section had most of this all together.
  15. This kind of inconsistency continues, but you get my point. I don't want to point out every issue here, I'm not here to map your song for you
  16. 02:51:029 (4,1) - This transition is still insanely bad because of the extreme flow-stop after a very fast-paced section

    Now we can skip to the 1/3 sections, still extremely overdone, constantly overmapping sounds, skipping sounds, and pretty big spacing problems

  22. 03:14:555 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,4,1) - etc etc etc, just really overdone, breaks consistency with these sounds throughout the map also, just not needed
  23. 03:18:976 (1,2,3,4) - These were bad in CLSW's harpuia and they're bad here too, vertical flow stops in a fast paced section aren't "challenging", they're frustrating.
  24. 03:21:502 (1,2,3,4,1) - Overmapped

The problems should be apparent really. I didn't even get to the last kiai, but the problems just keep repeating themselves so many times that I think being notified of them will help the mapper and nominators have a deeper look into the issues of the map. If it weren't for the rampant consistency problems and overdone patterns, the map would be really great and ready for ranked. For now, it feels like a nervous breakdown or something that CLSW mapped for graveyard. I believe that a much larger adjustment would be needed to make this map suitable for the ranked section, rather than something like Loved.

Hi Razor! I'm afraid your beatmap will need further polishment before it can be considered as ranked material. I'll take it down by now.

As Ascendance mentioned, there are some structure/overmapping issues that should be addressed. I do also agree that the merciless 1/3 section needs to be tuned down, since those are >30 sec of constant antiflow patterns with almost no rest sections.

I'd recommend you to get more feedback from experienced modders in order to get your beatmap ready. You can also contact me if you need further assistance!

Guys, you're doing it wrong, the map is perfectly fine. I don't agree with anything mentioned by Ascendance. That "consistency stuff", "not feel like hyperdash" and the "this part is very hard so I cry" arguments are coming out of nowhere. You're here to improve maps (which is subjective), not to make every map as you want it to be.

Edit: There is nothing wrong with pointing that stuff out, but that is definitely not a reason to disqualify, the mapper (even more if experienced) has the option to disagree with you if they like their maps as it is.

The map had to get DQed regardless if Deif thinks it needs improvements or not. Razor is away and can’t respond to ascendances mod and it can’t go through qualified with ignored mods so stop complaining about deif DQing it

I laughed at this btw

I'm a top 100 player and I can play it with no problem at all, so I'd prefer it if we didn't attack player skill when judging the content of the mod. If you had basic reading comprehension and 10 minutes to look through the mod, you'd find things make sense and you'd also find that most people agree with the opinion, including the QAT. We're not here to make maps the way we want them to be, we're trying to make things better.

If I find an issue on the map, I'll point it out. Simple. It's up for Razor to decide whether or not he wants to accept it, but as I modded it before, I don't believe my concerns were addressed properly and Razor himself acknowledged that. Please don't try to take my right to use the qualified section for it's intended purpose. Feedback. Thanks for your time!



Edit: Also, by your logic, if I decline everything with the response "I want to keep my map as I want it", I'll be able to get every map of mine ranked with 0 issues. This is almost 2018 friend, it doesn't work this way :o

Thanks for the DQ Deif, appriciate it as i didnt have a chance to look at Ascendance's mod before i left.

And eldnl, thank for liking the map, but both deif and ascendance habe valid points.

The only thing i can truly say i dont agree with is the 1/3 part. Dont see any reason to tune it down myself

With that said, ill continue after new year.
