  2. audio is only 128 kbps, if you can find some higher quality that would help (128 is still rankable)
  3. i saw that you had a silent slider slide and tick hit sound, make sure you don't make them both silent on sliders(i didn't find any but make sure)

Escape

  1. 00:07:995 (1,1,1) - This stack feels weird, breaks the rhythm you had going without any change in the song
  2. 01:11:495 (1) - snap slider end to blue tick? feels to short.
  3. 02:37:663 (1) - personally i would make this stream section less curvy and for it to have consistent spacing
  4. 02:54:829 (2,2) - make these 2 sliders curve better instead of more straight, the only time where you made the sliders not curved
  5. 04:24:329 (1) - doesn't line up with the burst
  6. 04:24:828 (1) - ^
  7. 04:25:328 (1) - ^

Aesthetics and Visual Spacing
ur visual spacing is not very consistent at all, i will give an example to try to explain what i mean
00:00:329 (1,2,3) - the distance between the objects here visually is known as visual spacing. here its rather close together
then when it gets to here 00:01:328 (5,6,7,8,9) - it becomes further apart. u want to keep the visual spacing concept as consistent as possible to make ur map look neat and clean
00:29:662 (1,3) - 00:35:995 (5,1) - 00:24:828 (3,4) - and here its just way too close, give some moderate distance to ur blankets

overlapping
avoid overlaps that seem unintentional
00:07:161 (6,1) -
00:17:328 (4,2) -
00:19:828 (5,2,5,6) - 01:02:995 (2,1) -

Rhythm Consistency
00:08:328 (1,1) - here u randomly just put 2 circles instead of ur usual 1/1 slider
00:35:995 (5) - normally u use a circle but u put a slider here actually u seem to just randomly swap around these 2 variations, u could either just stick with one or just swap them in a systematic order

Hitsounding
00:21:662 - while i can see that you put the claps on the dominant beat, the standard usage of the clap is to follow the snare or the beat of the music which usually go on the 2nd and 4th white ticks 00:21:995 - 00:22:662 -

01:12:328 - half the kiai seems to be just following the drums on a 1/1 track without much diversity. why not follow the vocals some more? ur literally just mapping to the beat until 01:20:328 -

  • - I compressed the mp3 file into 192kbps, the maximum bit rate rankable and also reduced the file size. Here it is, and you might want to change the offset a little too.
    - By any chance, are you using the custom hitsound "soft-slidertick.wav"? You might need to delete it, or try to make a good use of it in some of the sections in the map.
    - Not sure if I'm gonna be right about it, but I've seen some storyboard file elements hanging around the beatmap folder which are also unused. Or is it still WIP? I might be wrong, but saying it just in case.

  1. 00:23:160 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - 00:25:826 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The structures here aren't really well organized and way cluttered, pattern designing seems really lacking at some point. The overall flow and distance spacing are kinda out of place as well... So in order to fix that, you might need to reconsider a few note placements or density and rearrange the pattern nto something better than the current ones. There are others further that also applies the same issue as these two parts, so I may not gonna repeat this.
  2. 00:34:993 (1,3,5) - 00:37:660 (1,3,5) - The slider positionings over these, and many more further of course, are probably not the best way to comprehend the smooth flow somehow. They don't seem to be appealing as well, so maybe you should try to reshape those sliders a bit curvy rather than random. But hey, I've found some good sliders around, unfortunately it wasn't using consistently for aesthetics.
  3. 00:45:326 (1,2,3,4,5) - Because of the velocity change on 00:46:160 - , the visual aspect here looked really harshen as if it is extending its distance spacing in all of the sudden. I would recommend removing the green inherited point and balance the spacing in between the notes to make things cleaner.
  4. 00:58:993 (3) - You probably had a good idea on this one long slider art, sadly it wasn't executed properly due lack of polishing. But there's an option to change the slider shap of this if you want it to look better in many ways. Bt to me personally, you can stick with this design and redo to this type of slider positioning. It might save you some more time rather than thinking of another shape of slider.
  5. 01:09:493 - I have no idea why would you literally skip this beat just after the stream. It sounds quite promising for at least a circle or a 1/2 slider in my opinion. But it's up to you for sure.
  6. 01:41:576 (1) - 01:52:243 (1) - Well, I can see you're mostly following the melody and some vocal. But to be honest, the whole tracks that's being added as a spinner has a lot of good beats that's worth mapping on it. The section in these two are covering the whole thing that has something potential especially the percussion and downbeat at the end of the spinner, which is supposed to be clicked than lifted. So I would suggest removing the spinners and just add a few more notes in order to not skip beats that are too great to map.
  7. 02:02:326 (4,5,6,7,8) - 02:07:660 (4,5,6,7,8) - 02:12:493 (1,2,3,4,5) - These streams appear out of nowhere. There aren't any audible soundwaves over the blue ticks in the song track, even the inaudible ones are barely heard. So this might be having an overmap issue or something related to it. I highly recommend to remove the 1/4 circles to avoid overburdening the note density.

The map still needed more tweaks and improvements, especially the structure though. You executed the rhythm compositions quite okay, but the design of the difficulty itself wasn't really perfect. I hope you'll do better!

    When i asked some people to test play it it seems as they had no problem with that change as the instruments actually become silenced in this part and the vocals are left

    Changed the (some) of the spinners into circles/sliders
    Though the spinners are there to make sure that there are sufficient break times for the player

    The streams are changed into simple jumps now since that IS overmapping apparantly

  1. The soft-sliderend.wav file is unused, which goes against the ranking criteria as it adds artificially bloats the filesize of the map. So I would get rid of it.
  2. Pretty much all your green timing points are unsnapped. I would go over every one of them and make sure that they're on the appropriate spot in the timeline.


[Escape]
  1. 00:08:335 (1) - You seem to be missing a whistle here. You placed whistles everywhere else in respect to the high pitched sound, but not here, which is inconsistent.
  2. 00:19:002 (1) - You should end this slider on the beat, there isn't a significant sound on the blue tick so having the slider end there will sound off.
  3. 01:06:669 (15,1,2,3) - This flows bad because the direction of the stream contradicts the direction of (15), causing the cursor to move at quite an awkward angle to follow it. Something like this would flow much better.
  4. 01:13:002 (4,1) - You should increase the spacing between these two notes. Because (1) lands on a powerful sound, spacing them apart would give it more emphasis in the map, which is better because it would make your map represent the music more accurately.
  5. 01:22:335 (1,2,3) - You should make these three notes equidistant. You can see that different sides have differing amounts of overlap, and it is quite noticeable. So I would brush up on this.
  6. 01:28:669 (2,3) - Like I mentioned earlier, (3) is on a strong sound so it deserves more emphasis.
  7. 02:37:669 (1) - A 60 note + deathstream seems quite difficult, and somewhat out of place if you compare it to the average difficulty of the map. I would highly recommend breaking it up with kick sliders, like you did with the stream at 01:04:335 (1) -
  8. 03:25:669 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16) - Another peculiar difficulty spike, The song doesn't particularly call for jumps of this calibre, so they're unfitting. I would nerf them a bit.
  9. 04:00:335 (1,3) - This overlap is quite messy. Structure wise, something like this would look much nicer.
  10. 05:04:335 (1,2,3) - Flow here is a bit off, due to how the sliders mislead each other. Perhaps you could instead move (2) so it is blanketed under (1), and then ctrl+G (3)? Like this. This will improve the flow by utilising a smooth circular motion, and it'll improve the structure through the use of two blankets.


As others have said, you need to work on your map's structure. Look at a pattern like 04:13:669 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - for example. This pattern is good because a clear, nice looking arrangement is formed within the notes. You want every note within the map to construct some sort of pattern with each other. In the pattern I linked, it's clear that every note serves some sort of purpose, right? You want to be able to say that about every pattern within the map. That being said though, this map handles emphasis and flow quite well. Good luck ~
