Cursortrail and smoke not working

My cursortrail and cursorsmoke don't work, I've tried resizing the images and tried adding lines in the skin.ini and nothing helps. Anyone know how to fix it?

The problem is that your skin folder has both a blank cursortrail@2x.png and cursorsmoke@2x.png, so basically it's nothing. If you want the default for both of these elements (smoke and trail from the default osu! skin) simply delete them both. You can find them in the skin's folder entitled with the same name as I previously mentioned.

for the cursor to work properly, you need to have the cursor image itself as well
