Hi, after looking at the offset, it actually sounds a little off, it's true. Although I don't feel like it's 328 either. Gonna ask for a timing check later.nextplay wrote:

General: You have a good idea of mapping, but offset is wrong. Try with 307. This might looks better =).
Insane: Okay okay, i like your mapstyling but..
00:00:307 (2) - The song starts here. Fixed before (told you that in irc)
00:12:407 (3,6) - stack I don't think it's too good tbh
after stack , 00:12:407 (3) - ctrl+g to better flow. ^
00:16:551 (4,5) - looks weird :c Okay, fixing it.
00:17:711 (4,5,6,7) - delete this^
after delete this, ctrl c and ctrl v here 00:17:711 (4) - and later ctrl h to better flow, like this Changed it in a different way.
00:24:341 (2,4) - stackDone
00:28:981 (2,4) - same^
00:30:473 (1,2,3,4,5) - delete this and create a new flow Done
00:31:136 (1,2,3,4,5) - this might start here 00:31:467 (1) - Kept it there, feels better imo.
and delete 00:31:798 (5) -Just changed it a little, not deleted.
00:32:628 (4,7) - stack
00:33:622 (8,11) - same
00:35:280 (15,2) - same with the sliderending
00:36:606 (6,8) - same Did all of that except 00:33:622 (8,11) -
00:39:755 (1) - delete this and start 00:40:252 (1) - here 00:40:086 (1) -
and put slidervelocity here I prefer it like that.
Okay that's all! gl with your map :3

Fixed, but the offset felt more like it's on 307
quick mod
[General]
disable Countdown and Widescreen support in every diff
[Easy]
00:12:593 (1,2,3) - this notes are overlapping to much http://puu.sh/uQoBa/b5abb417c5.jpg try to spread them more They feel good for me - it's for beginners. I actually tried but DS is meh
00:16:239 (1,2,3,4) - here the same Fixed only 4
00:32:151 - start the new combo here and not there 00:32:814 - Done
00:34:803 (4,5,6,7) - and the notes are overlapping again Fixed it a little. Not too much though.
00:40:438 (1) - end the slider here 00:42:095 - the sound is there, so better use it
overlapping isn't bad at all, but for easy this is too much on one location
[Normal]
00:11:267 - new combo here, not there 00:12:925 (2) -
00:16:239 - new combo here, remove this combo 00:14:582 - Done [both]
00:24:195 - better not change the sv, the sliders are fast enough in general Nah, they don't become faster. It's just, I changed the SV for a part before, and then changed it again to 1.10
00:21:875 (1,2,3,1) - overlapping again, you have so much room, why not use it to spread it some more? Fixed
00:40:107 (1) - end the slider here 00:42:095 - the sound is there, so better use it Done
[Hard]
instead of placing 1/2 notes everywhere you better should follow the rythm I'm aware that the Hard and Insane are bad. Although I don't think the 1/2 thingy on Extra and Natural are bad.
same goes for Insane, Extra and Natural

there is no sv on the beginning of the map, so i assume it goes faster with this sv change

Don't worry about your maps, your knowledge will increase over time and then you don't need to worry about such things that often.
and yes, for Extra and Natural it's may not that bad, but a bit more rathm wouldn't be bad
Quick thing regarding SV: https://gyazo.com/c7de3c947b05b3fd081098360efae6fbJason X wrote:

The map is full of bad flow because the angles between notes are too wide. Very uncomfortable to play.
Place sliderstarts on important sounds and end them on equal or less equal sounds.
The map doesn't reflect the song at all.
00:15:058 (6) - Ignoring all rhythm and melody
00:23:843 (5) - Offbeat, place it on the white tick
00:25:334 (1) - Delet this note
00:27:323 (1,2,3,4) - Whole thing offbeat
00:28:981 (4) - This is just mapping a sound that doesnt exist
00:31:633 (1,2,3,4,5) - offbeat
00:39:920 (2,1,2) - Blatant overmapping (no sounds there)
00:40:417 (3) - Not a place for a slider. Replace it with a spinner or single notes

00:23:677 (5) - make this slider a bit shorter and place a circle before it like that https://puu.sh/v4QAw/85e85a6d15.png Done in a different way
i do recommend to do it like that https://puu.sh/v4QEh/fe5bc6362d.png
---
00:25:334 (1) - remove note, there's no sound for it. Still can hear a sound there
---
00:28:981 (4) - remove reverse on this slider, there's no sound. Done
---
00:31:467 (7) - nc Done
00:31:550 (1) - remove nc Done
And make pattern like that https://puu.sh/v4QQu/955c3d75e2.png
---
Please, decrease spacing on jumps for a bit from that 00:32:130 (1) - point, don't break the map consistency. Nah. Reflects the song's higher intensity at that point
---
Remove that https://puu.sh/v4QYJ/c323e3fc03.png point on this 00:40:417 (3) - slider.Nah

That's all i noticed, hope i helped you.
Map is awesome, i played it and flow feels so good!
Good luck with your map, i hope you will get your map ranked! <3
00:07:599 (9) - Ctrl+G Ruins the flow, tbhHm, if you said it ruins the flow, maybe place them like that? https://puu.sh/v4S1Q/74fa2cda39.png

00:39:920 (2,1,2) - Blatant overmapping (no sounds there)
00:40:417 (3) - Not a place for a slider. Replace it with a spinner or single notes
Fixed all. Thanks for the mod, really appreciate it. I'm not too good at mapping hard and insane diffs, gonna try to remap themthecoolracer wrote:
I'll start off by saying that I really like this beatmap's song and I believe that it has a lot of potential for interesting patterns and whatnot, but I will quickly explain why I did not mod the hard difficulty.
Because I couldn't flippin' play it.
Now, I had taken a hiatus from osu! for a week or so, because I had lots more important stuff to do, however, I finally had the time, so I decided to go through my queue. Anyway, I started with the Insane difficulty, but I felt like I just can't play at all, did I really start to suck *that* hard after just a week? I went to play some other maps - nope, I still suck only a little bit. Anyway, I got to playing Insane again and even wrote down some things I felt needed changing, however every time I played I thought that the map could be a lot more interesting. The thing which caused me to suck so much was the fact that all the time it's just the same 1/2 notes over and over again - the beatmap could use some variation as the song allows for it, constant tapping is super boring and tiresome (maybe the 2 harder diffs are better, but I did not bother playing them as I couldn't say anything objective about them anyway, as I am not that good of a player). I hoped that Hard will be better on this regard, however it was still the same tap-tap-tap-hold-tap-tap-tap-hold.
TL;DR; Insane and Hard should be more varied and not just tap-on-the-beat-hold-in-some-places as the song allows it.
(after pasting this in I noticed that other's have said the same, it's great that you are aware of the diff's shortcomings and hope you can fix them )Anyway, here is my modInsane
00:08:262 (4) This slider reminds me of the "Which one doesn't belong" questions in the IQ tests given to children. Basically - why the longer slider?; it totally breaks the flow in my opinion, as never ever again is there a slider that long (the ending doesn't count)
00:27:655 (5) I totally understand that this can be justified as simply being a tricky pattern, but having the *insert musical term here* and stream start with such a gap, again - breaks the flow. 00:31:301 (1) is nice though.
00:35:942 (2) NC should start here, not at the previous hitobject.
Speaking of combos, the combo before this should maybe get split in half.
Normal
00:23:511 (4) Does this slider really have to end on a red tick? Even though I understand why it ends on a red tick (it's a pretty long note), having it end on a red tick is totally against the map's flow.
00:40:086 (1) End this slider on the last piano key for extra satisfaction points
Easy
00:14:892 (3) Again with the red tick nitpick. Obviously, it's your call whether or not you want to snap it on a beat, but in my opinion you shouldn't add off-beats if they aren't consistent.
00:40:417 (1) Should start where 00:39:091 (10) ends, as a result 00:39:091 (10) should become shorter as well (obviously) If it gets moved and the slider is not altered, that extra last-key satisfaction should come by itself.
