How do people get such high scores?

So I SS'd a map with the same mods as the guy with #1 on the leaderboard but my score is way lower than his and a few other between us. Does something else account for score? There aren't any spinners on this beatmap so I know it can't be that. Here's a pic https://gyazo.com/866f72ad2b2aa60a732dc630b1bcda14

As you can see #1 guy has 189,610 an I only have 189,054. I'm super new just started playing last week so I'm not really worried about the leaderboards but I was just curious as to what's going on here.

He may have gotten it on a different build of the game. This can sometime happen.

There's a bug where if you double tap sliders at a certain time or in a certain way, you can get an ever-so-slight increase in score.
