00:46:349 (2) - Why not ctrl+G this? the circular flow from the previous slider would be completely disrupted if you were to let it start from below --- i want the flow break here to show transition out of that section
02:19:823 (2,3,4) - what happened to the flow? o-o i use a similar pattern in the other kiais as well, don't think this one is that bad.
will rework 2nd kiai a bit to make flow more rotational like other parts.

thanks for modding. i'm not looking for more GDs because i want my map to be the highest diff in the set. i also don't think this song supports higher difficulties very well.Cerberus Roze wrote:

00:06:876 (1,2,3,4) - this pattern here thats repeated through the intro i feel you did it back to front, i feel every white tick that has that strong drum sound and thumping drum sound should have a slider and everything else should be just a circle, its awkward just having 1/1 notes there
i feel filling out the map more adds a lot and makes it less boring, and if your trying to undermap because the song is "calm" i guess i dont think that really works because its really awkward, heres an example of how i think the rhythm could be mapped better if you are unsure on what i mean
00:27:402 (3) - also here, more awkward pauses, such a good spot to add a slider to fill out the map till the next beat or what ever you are mapping to
00:32:297 (2) - this note ends on a strong beat? its confusing what your mapping to here so idk LOL
those sliders are on guitar notes.
00:47:612 (3) - after every white tick here add slider for better feel (to fill it out really) then maybe stack the circles untill this point 00:51:718 (1) - and make jumps for that, mainly to make it stand out because its different to the rest of that section
00:57:718 (2) - theres a few spots like this where you dont have a slider on strong sound, im assuming your trying to prioritize the guitar here too? either way make sure you put a slider to put emphasis on whats being mapped because i cant tell 00:57:876 (3) - is on a vocal
01:17:454 - in the chorus there are a lot of sliders ending on strong notes and circles where sliders should be, i think you should prioritize the drums then when it fits do an extra long slider or stack or something to put emphasis on vocals. to me atleast it seems like your putting vocals first which is fine it works but maybe another way is better nah i'd prefer following vocals in kiai to make it different from the drum focused other parts.
the intro rhythms are purely drum focused trying to create contrast between 1/2 and 1/1 spacing. adding in filler slider ends is not gonna help with that idea.
;o nice song and map good luck! hope i was helpful owo
also quick question, mind if i do a GD? i like this song o.o, will probably be 5.5-6* max if your ok with that, i understand if your not interested ;p
thanks for the actual mod, helpful.Hobbes2 wrote:

combo colors. Also, go through and be consistent with your NCs. I mentioned specifically complicated ones (I guess), but you should really be consistent with how often you put your NCs. Right now it varies between every two measure and every measure all over the place.
00:19:033 (4,2) - this kind of overlap is pretty poo for a normal. Fixing this requires moving stuff around but I think you should.
00:21:876 (1) - NC should be on 00:22:033 (2) - instead
00:23:139 (1) - Remove NC and move it to 00:24:086 (3) - to be consistent with your NC every 2 measures pattern
00:24:086 (3) - For rhythm purposes I'd shorten this to a 1/1 slider and make 00:24:560 - clickable. If you apply the above NC suggestion, put the NC on 00:24:560 - instead.
00:46:665 (3,1,2) - Eh..would prefer if you stack 2 under 3's tail it's my style
01:00:402 - shouldnt really be clickable compared to 01:00:244, which is the more important guitar sound and drum.
01:06:876 (5,2) - Yucky overlap it's my style
01:11:139 - Circle for vocal? not that important imo and also not my part
01:10:033 (1,2) - If you try to blanket these it would look way better. Note that if you apply the above it would affect this entirely because of DS
01:23:297 (2) - Don't like this, cuts over a strong vocal on 01:24:086 - and forces you to skip another vocal on 01:24:402 -
01:27:560 (1) - Hm...Jumps in normals are okay I guess but this one's kinda bad because it makes the 3/2 gap harder to read.
01:50:139 (5) - More appropriate rhythm would be 1/2 slider into 1/1 slider on 01:50:454. 01:51:086 - can be a circle then, and you'd still be following vocals while making sure the right sounds are emphasized.
02:00:559 (1) - Shorten to the red tick, then add a 1/1 slider on 02:01:349 to capture the vocals better. think this one sounds fine
02:07:981 - no kiai? ?
Hard to mod this because the rhythm selections felt kinda random. Sometimes you guys would map vocals, sometimes ignore strong vocals, I couldn't tell when you'd do which and why. Maybe it's because a collab? idk. Feel like you guys could go through and be more consistent with that.
yeah i'll go through and make it a bit more consistent, definitely agree
[Advanced]
There's a big flaw in this openings' aesthetics (and I guess for the other slow parts too), and it's that because of the DS you chose, 1/2 gaps sometimes touch and sometimes do not. Example would be 00:27:086 (2,3) - vs 00:28:033 (4,1). This is actually really noticeable, and the easiest way to fix this is to either raise or decrease the DS by like .05.
Also, clean up your combos
00:41:297 (2,3,4,1) - Make a square, so that 00:41:297 (2,1) - aren't so close to touching.
00:42:718 - high pitched sound in the melody here makes me think it should be clickable. You could convert 00:42:560 (2) - to two circles. Same for 00:43:981 -
01:01:191 - new guitar introduced, so I suggest making this clickable vocals focused, ignored everything else.
01:33:560 (3) - i was memeing about the "ah ah" thing in my shitmod but here i actually do think they should be clickable
01:36:876 (2,3,4) - equal distance between 2, 3's head, and 4 for aesthetics
01:57:402 (1,2,3) - The new slow section hasn't even started yet, so don't reduce the DS yet
01:58:033 (3) - NC
02:48:402 (2) - ctrl+right once to make the stack look better (so its +4,+4 instead of +3,+4)
on the new RC its a guideline for 1/2 stacks in Hard Maps to not perfect stack, but to stack normally. you could lowkey circumvent this by asking nao to call his advanced a hard and to call this diff a light insane 👀im renaming this spread into cup salad plattern rain overdose deluge of memories anyway x d
I'd mod the rest but im lazy and I don't like the song too much, so maybe I'll come back and mod the harder diffs later. Good luck!
very subjective mod tbh, i hope in future attempts you can look to mapper's reasoning rather than just your ownMir wrote:

- You have inconsistent timing, tags, and creator throughout your set. Double check them. it's my style
- Combo colors on the Easy amd Normal aren't set, is that intentional? it's my style
- Advanced has dupe timing points at 01:14:928, Normal at 02:07:981, it's my style
- Only OD 8.3 on 5* it's my style

- 02:47:769 (6) - Unsnapped slider end. it's my style
- 00:08:139 (1,2,3,4) - This pattern flows differently from all the other ones for some reason. The others have flow parallel to the slider it starts from yet this one is perpendicular. it's my style
- 00:15:718 (1,2) - Could be cool to actually stack these cuz you get emphasis and lower spacing, which is what you seem to want here. it's my style
- 00:28:033 (4) - Nice stack lol. it's my style
- 00:36:560 (2) - This skips all the stuff going on on the white tick: vocals, the woosh sound, and the drums, and lands on a blue with noting on it. ._. I would make a kickslider on the white but that's personal preference, the thing that bugs me is you basically skip a strong lead-in beat I guess to emphasize the next red tick? You can do that in other ways and still keeping the white clickable or at least on a slider end. it's my style
- 01:00:244 (2,3,4) - I think ctrl+g this rhythm would make more of the guitar clickable and would play more fun tbh. it's my style
- 01:17:297 (4,5,1) - I think stacking this would give more emphasis. The way it plays now is too flowy imo, and the sound is really strong so some harsher emphasis is justified. it's my style
- 01:23:139 (4) - This could be two 1/2 sliders. I'm not really sure why it's 1/1 in the first place really. Vocal starts on the head and starts on the end and you skip a drum in the middle but nowhere else do you ever do this. You seem to be fine with mapping 1/1 vocals as 1/2 sliders at 01:21:244 (1,2,3,4) - anyways. it's my style
- 01:33:718 (4,1) - Ctrl+G'ing this would make more of the vocals clickable and generally feels better to play - unless you're following drums. it's my style
- 01:46:981 (3) - Could use an NC since this slowdown is pretty unexpected. At least it was to me. Especially considering there's a spaced 1/4 gap from the slider end, could be easier to read if NC'd. it's my style 00:56:454 (3) -
- 01:49:981 (4) - Could be two circles for vocals while 01:49:191 (1) - could be two circles for guitar. Either works for more click emphasis on the sounds you might be mapping to. it's my style
- 01:51:086 (3) - For guitar could also be two circles. Same for 01:52:191 (1) - unless you want to map this vocal, which tbh doesn't really transition too well since you map vocals only with this slider then follow drums and guitar again after. it's my style
- 01:52:823 (4) - Pretty strong note to not NC. It marks the halfway point of the section if you look at the bookmarks you put and that note is usually very strong. it's my style
- 01:55:823 (2) - Mapping this kick on a slider end is kind if weird considering all the other important drum sounds in this combo are clickable. It also creates ambiguity as to what you're following since it could be either drums or guitar. it's my style
- 02:00:560 (4) - Strong note with no emphasis or even an NC. Just a slight spacing increase would work. it's my style
- 02:14:928 (3,4) - Could make this a slightly curved vertical slider so that click emphasis on vocals is better on 02:15:244 (5,6). Since 3 and 4 don't have distinct sounds (only 3 starts on vocal and 4 doesn't have anything important on it) I don't really think they should be mapped as circles, while 5 and 6 do have distinct vocals yet don't have much click emphasis. it's my style
- 02:27:244 (2,3,4,5,6,1) - This is really sharp and uncomfortable for only a drumroll. In other places you didn't map it with such a high amount of uncomfortable flow, so maybe make this a bit more comfortable? Just a bit. it's my style
- 02:45:402 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - Sudden spacing increase? I mean the vocals come in sure but they do at many other times in the map and you don't increase spacing like this. I think this stream should just be constant DS. it's my style
[Advanced]
First off the DS is so close that it create REALLY close overlaps that are like barely there but it's super triggering can you like icrease DS slightly by 0.1x in the slow parts?
- 00:29:612 (4) - Shouldn't this be NC? it's my style
- 01:01:981 (4) - Could be two circles for the snares. it's my style
- 01:03:244 (3) - This could be two circles like you did for 01:04:507 (3,4) - since the click emphasis would be a bit better with the second one. it's my style
- 01:25:823 (3,1,2) - Could be more visually consistent in spacing. it's my style
- 01:34:823 (4) - Also would probably be cooler as two circles cuz there are distinct sounds there. it's my style
- 01:35:770 (3,4) - Ctrl+G'ing this makes more sense to me actually since the reverse has more of the same type of vocal on it... uh.. you know what I mean? It's really hard to explain. x.x it's my style
- 01:46:665 (2,3) - Since the 3 is a bit stronger it could be 1/2 slider + circle into the next slider if you want. Just for that extra click emphasis. it's my style
- 01:49:033 - This not being mapped sounds weird because the whole previous combo followed the vocals pretty strictly. it's my style
- 02:13:033 (1) - Uhhhh?? Shouldn't this end on red? it's my style
- 02:30:244 (3) - Pls Slayed wave. :c it's my style
- 02:51:086 (1) - Like PAN's diff, it sounds better if it starts on the next red. it's my style
- 03:13:191 (3,4) - Blanket. ;-; it's my style
Good luck!
