.rar skins

i have a problem with .rar skins

i can download them but osu doesn´t show them in the options with the other skins

i have got win-rar

what am i doing wrong

please help!

you open the .rar with winrar and extract the folder in it to osu!/skins

i download them always in this folder

The directory should be osu!\Skins\SkinFolder\(Skin Elements). Having the skin elements in the wrong subfolder will cause it to not load. A common problem I can imagine is having a Skins folder within a Skins folder, or something like that. I also believe skins missing the skin.ini file won't load; don't quote me on this, however.

.RARs shouldn't be the problem; the archiving method is irrelevant.

Yes, you can use my skin elements for your maps. You do not need to be credit me.
For mixed skins or as part of a new original skin, I request you credit me for this kind of usage. Thanks!
