Storm Raid Battle - Need opinion before I continue

This is the first beatmap I've ever tried to make, and for the most part I have the hang of it, but I need an opinion. All I have so far is small segment of the insane difficulty, but it's getting to the point where I'm wondering if I should continue. My beatmap is too hard for me to play while hitting things onbeat, so I can't judge how a certain section "feels" by playing it. Auto-playing the song makes it look like everything is pretty much onbeat and correct, but I'm not sure how many real-life players will be able to follow the irregular breakcore beats without accusing me of shitty beat mapping (do to how inconsistent it all looks). The fast sections also go on for a while, so I'm not sure what to cut out.

Here is a download link so people can try it:

Bottom line: should I continue making this?

Hello,

First of all it is not allowed to ask for mods for a map that hasn't been submitted to the osu! yet, first you will need to submit your map using the "Upload Beatmap" button on the File section, afterwards you can post the link to your beatmap and ask people for mods on it, people modding will tell you about any errors on the map and give you suggestions on improving it, they can also help you get the timing right, etc. If you're just worried about finishing the map or not, you should ask yourself if YOU would finish it or not, rather than letting it rot until it goes to the graveyard. And last but not least, make sure you've read the Editing section of the FAQ and the Ranking Guidelines.
Only you, the mapper, can decide the fate of your map, if the map is offbeat or not timed properly, people who mod your map will tell you and help you make it timed more properly, i wish you best of luck with your map.

Hmmmm, this forum seems to use a different meaning for "mod" than I'm used to. I assume "mod" means constructive criticism here? I figured that it would be silly to use the "upload beatmap" option when I only have part of one difficulty finished. Should I bother uploading the map as it is right now, or do I have to finish one of the difficulties before I upload it for criticism?

Well modding a map means opening it in editor and giving feedback and pointing errors, giving suggestions to the mapper so they can improve their maps.
However the word Mod is also used for moderator, although they are more commonly referred here as BATs and GMTs, BATs being Beatmap Approval Team and GMTs being Global Moderation Team
Sorry if that confused you, i'm just used to people knowing that when talking about maps and mods, they know already that it means modding their maps XD

As for the second question, most people wont mod unfinished maps, but you would probably need timing help for starters, so it is possible to upload the beatmap and get help with that, since it wont matter much if you finish the map, if the timing is horribly wrong, chances are you'll have to remap it anyways, after someone helps with the tming, go ahead and finish the map, then start getting it modded by others.

Alright, I'll finish a difficulty before I upload anything. Thanks for the info!
