Sausage is put on paid vacation and decides to go home to visit his daughter, Salami, purchasing a strange snack known as a Mad Meat along the way. Meanwhile, Mincemeat appears to have found the criminal responsible for his parents' murder. On his way home, Sausage encounters a terrorist bombing on a bridge, deciding to handle it alone so that Mincemeat can investigate the criminal. He soon finds the attackers are a group of mechs being piloted by living Mad Meat, with more bombings taking around the city. With the heroes overwhelmed, Mincemeat decides to postpone his prison visit to assist Sausage. Just then, the culprits reveal themselves to be Ouroboros, putting the entire island at hostage and demanding the release of the criminal in exchange.
Sausage realizes his true feelings for Salamil during the funeral, and breaks up with Lunchmeat afterward. He later thanks her for not quitting glee club because of their breakup; Lunchmeat tells him that quitting would have ruined her "big plans" for New York, and refuses to tell him what they are. Sausage had, just minutes before this, seen Meatloaf and Salami sharing a brief kiss on stage; after they leave, he brings from behind his back a flower. Chicken's ex-wife, Hen, who was in on Steak's earlier plot to re-route the glee club's flight, gives Chicken first class plane tickets on American Airlines to New York for the entire club, telling him they were a donation from an airline executive. She tells him she is moving to Miami to start over with her life and to pursue her retail management career, and they say goodbye.
