00:22:677 (1,2) - copy paste to this part 00:26:427 (1,2) - and rotate. Else you have a different flow each time.-
00:28:302 (3,4,5,6) - I don't know why, but these squares bother me. Maybe because it was different before 00:24:552 (3,4,5,6) - where the slidertail was part of the square...
00:55:958 (6) - out of place, check shape again (of the whole combo)
00:56:427 (1,2) - sliderposition just like above copy paste (decide which one you want to keep)
01:00:177 (1,2) - And put that shape here too
the DS in the quiet part (at the beginning) is higher than the DS during the build up 00:37:677 (1) - .
The DS should be lower at the beginning, the DS during the build up a little bit higher.
00:38:731 (2,3,4) - change 4 to a slider too like the others and push everything to the white tick on the left side. http://puu.sh/t2KLp/1988261be9.jpg. It felt off timing when it was on the blue tick
Same goes for combo afterwards
00:47:052 (3,4) - I think it would be better if you play 3 and 4 like 1 and 2 (look at order ascending and descending of the shape)

01:09:552 (4) - looks kinda awkward in the corner. copy 1 and rotate it maybe? then you wouldn't need to map the only blanket in the whole map

Kiai Section: more DS

Generally I like the map and the music. However especially maps for normal difficulity should be mapped with DS (if you are going to map entire section with nearly one and the same DS then you might not note the difference, but during playing you will note something bothering you while playing.

When I was replaying your version something bothered me. I think it's this. Now something else is bothering me, but if you just make some sliders end on a red tick, then that feeling will fade.
I decided to make it 2 short 2 long 2 shor 2 long sliders, then whenever that sound 00:41:427 (1) - here is coming (I assume it's a whistle) make it a long one, followed by a short, then 2 long, it sounds better to me. feel free to change the combination of SSLLSSLL LSLL LSLL etc. because I#m not really sure there, it just sounds better.

I can't really recognize any shapes, but that's alright. you need to use DS more often and I even thought during playing, that there was a problem with the DS, because I thought that those 00:40:489 (5) - would end either on a red or a white tick, the next note thus also a red or white tick with 00:41:427 (1) - this here being a blue tick. But you actually let the slider end on a blue tick, so I assumed that the DS was messed up. Try to let the players hit on a white or red tick UNLESS you can hear an emphazised sound on the blue tick.

00:50:802 (1) - try to map them with a small angle towards the ground.
00:57:598 (4) - there is actually a sound here, but if you put it out then everybody will instead focus on 3 (which is good, because it's an emphazised sound.) Might try a slider here
01:22:207 (1,2) - annoying af to play. 2 streams after each other, then a circle after a stream.
Try to pay more attention to shape and flow. It was all over the map. but I shouldn't point out each circle. Also rythm is off at times. But it#s still a fking nice map with a fking nice music


I watched all maps, everytime the offset was shortly after 0:00. In my opinion though, I believe that the offset should be set to 22677.
Also you might need to change the SV more at times. Pay more attention to rythm, shape and flow. That#s it.

I watched all maps, everytime the offset was shortly after 0:00. In my opinion though, I believe that the offset should be set to 22677. Offset shoulda be okay though :/
Also you might need to change the SV more at times. Pay more attention to rythm, shape and flow. That#s it.[/quote]

Offset usually is at the first audible note. You can keep it that way, but I prefer putting the offset on the first note you actually play, as this will make the white ticks stay on their goddamn place.

  1. Slider form: you have only 2 slider forms in this difficulty - straight sliders and small curvy sliders without red points in it. Try to make it more diversed so it can be played more interesting, there's bunch of different forms you can apply, as an example I can put some here ( https://puu.sh/taTnQ/bb338d88bd.png https://puu.sh/taTnW/6979faac8b.png https://puu.sh/taTnY/6be64c2f01.png). Red points are very interesting to use, straight sliders are good to be used on slow music. I don't say to use all these shapes randomly - just play around and try to make your map more variative :)
  2. Yellow ticks - I don't get it why you've used 1/8 here, the only place it can be used on this difficulty is 01:35:567 - and I don't suggest to use it there. My thoughts about yellow ticks here: there's no sound on these ticks on a whole difficulty (only 01:35:567 - ), so if you change sliders that end on yellow ticks (with muted ends) on sliders that end on red ticks (with muted ends) it will only be better. In kiai part it even can mislead some players
  3. About 01:35:567 - Just change it to slider similar to sliders, that go earlier
  4. 00:54:552 (1,2,3) - This looks awesome, 01:02:052 (1,2,3) - this looks not so good. Try to curve first slider and make the flow not in a form of triangle, as you've done earlier, maybe like this ( https://puu.sh/taUCU/a204c0c23d.png ). Still there are many opportunitites to do this place, try to feel what's better

A wild mod appears from #modreqs!

[ General]
  1. normal-hitfinish2.wav could have a delay of over 5ms which is unrankable. Check and make sure in an audio program.
  2. For your normal diff you could increase circle size, since at the moment it's CS 3.8 and that's kinda small for a conventionally mapped normal. even 3.5 would probably work better imo.
  3. Your Hard diff needs more OD because right now it's the same as your Normal difficulty, 4 is pretty low even by Hards' standards anyways so try 5-6? Same with Twilight, you could buff it slightly up to 6.x or even 7 if you wanted to.
  4. Twilight could be given more HP drain since there are a lot more notes. 5.x should be fine. You could lower the Normal HP drain to 3 or so because atm Normal and Hard have the same HP drain. Just look over your difficulty settings again in general.

  3. Twilight could be given more HP drain since there are a lot more notes. 5.x should be fine. You could lower the Normal HP drain to 3 or so because atm Normal and Hard have the same HP drain. Just look over your difficulty settings again in general. ^

hello there!

the biggest issue i had with this map was the use of distance snap everywhere. using the same distance snap at all times means that you cannot use spacing at all to represent the song's intensity.

[twilight]
for example, 00:32:520 - in this section the song is getting quieter, the spacing and note density should decrease, but instead it stay the same.

00:37:677 - this buildup section then feels very lame since you don't use jumps or increasing spacing.

00:52:677 - then this section also feels identical to the previous parts since the spacing and sv are all more or less the same. the song is much more intense, but it isn't reflected in the map in my opinion.

the rhythm density is also a large problem in my opinion.

00:53:163 - this section has lower density than 00:25:612 - even though it's much louder and intense.

00:37:677 - this section is neutered in the rhythm section since you didn't follow any of the drums or anything and instead picked the most boring instrument to follow with only 3/4 sliders.
then when you did decide to add in circles, 00:41:309 (4) - is not on an important note, so it just seems like a random triple that doesn't follow anything.

01:17:755 - there is nothing here that suggests a bunch of circles should be placed. there is a 1/1 bass and a held out note in the synth, so your rhythm should reflect that.

01:22:208 - this is the only time that these drum hits are not represented as stacked notes.

01:25:958 (7,8,1,2) - this is kinda confusing imo. since it switched between 1/4 snap and 1/8 snap.

i don't think further modding will help since fixing the flaws in this map would result in a full remap of the difficulty anyway. basically, i think you should try to follow the rhythm as closely as you can since this is the top difficulty and players are supposedly ready for the corresponding challenge. in addition, i'd advise using all the tools available to you to represent the song, like spacing, slider velocity, rhythm density and relative intensity.

you've probably already heard of these videos, but pishifat the qat released a series of guides on how to implement some of these ideas in you map successfully. if you haven't done so already, i recommend watching the ones on rhythm, rhythm density and diff spread, and emphasis.
