when in the private chat menu with someone it would be helpful if it said "'player" is typing..." with player being the username ofc, so that u can see if they are responding. whats really annoying sometimes is when someones typed a message and you are writing a response but then they reply to themselves and you have to delete your message to go with what they said after that. i think this could go for multiplayer rooms and spectator chats too but only up to a certain amount of people, like 4 or 5 maybe. big chats like language specific chats and #osu wouldnt have this because of how many people could be typing at one time.
