The "random" mod that is already in osu! would help.
If you want osu! to choose on a specific range of difficulty only, then hide some "very easy" & "very hard" beatmaps for you (from the settings, by choosing the range of difficulty you want to be shown).

I agree. You just have to click the random button in song select or by pressing F2 and it will select a random map. That should be exactly that what you want, or?Frozen_Rhythm wrote:

Make sure your group is set to No Grouping when you click random. This will make it pick a random map from all your available beatmaps

You already have F2 for random beatmap. Other workarounds have been listed above, so use them.
