Hi ! :3 I hope you are having a nice day !

Collections are something really useful in osu!, as soon as you begin downloading lots of maps, they become mandatory (at least for me), and you know what ? You could make them even better ! I'm sure it would not eat up a lot of your time too !

As you can see on this video, I have a LOT of collections : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6iz33R ... e=youtu.be

And none of them are useless (well, I could get rid of a few). It would be a nice thing to allow players to make 'folders' in which to put some collections, for instance, I have five collections about the Group Stage of the OWC2016, and having a folder to regroup all five of them would come in handy !

Or maybe a spoilerbox, like on forums !

SPOILER
OWC 2016 Group Stage FreeMod
OWC 2016 Group Stage DoubleTime
OWC 2016 Group Stage HardRock
OWC 2016 Group Stage NoMod
OWC 2016 Group Stage Tiebreaker

You could also remove the character limit of the names of the collections, if possible, it would be nicer not to have to shorten the words, like, using 'Group Stage' instead of 'GS'.

Cawub has a great idea : you could also implement a way to search through the collections, the same way you can search for songs, that would be a way to circumvent having to add a spoiler/folder system !

Thank you for taking the time to read my post ! I hope you'll take the time to think about my suggestions, I wish you a good day !

My only problem with this is the whole Russian doll effect where someone would requested to have more folder to put their folders in etc. I think a better idea would be the ability to search the collection names. As it stands now if you have a folder named OWC 2015 GS Nomod and you searched it in collections nothing would show up, implementing the ability to search the name of collection you are looking for would be better imo.
