Insane]

00:25:312 (4,5,4,5) – I’d like to take this as an example of how some spots in this difficulty lack consistency. Basically whenever you have the same musical phrases happening you want to make the map as most consistent as possible both visually and rhythm wise. The way you map shows that you have an understanding of that, but if you compare how both this sliders are blanket you can see that they’re different. It’s a matter of making the map more polished.
Another example of that is how the map starts its flow 00:12:454 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) – you have four sections of repetitive musical phrases that you mapped using similar patterns for both 1,3 and another in 2,4 . On the 5th repetition you changed the flow keeping the rhythm similar 00:17:940 (1,2,3,4,5,6) – which is good to get some variation, however you kept the flow on the 6th repetition 00:19:312 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - same as 2 and 4, with just a small variation of where the 00:20:169 (6) – landed. You may want to actually structure this whole start by making all odd phrases 00:12:454 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) – similar and all even 00:13:826 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) – as well. Starting variations of patterns at this point 00:23:426 – seems really reasonable.
Your combos need some work as well. At various spots it seems you forgot to getting them organized like this 00:34:912 (1) - ; 00:36:283 (1) - ; 00:37:655 (1) - ; 00:41:769 (1) - ; 00:43:140 (1) - ; 00:51:883 (1) - ; 00:54:626 (1,2,3) - ; 00:57:197 (1,2,3) - ; 01:00:969 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - ; 01:03:197 (6) - , etc. Remember that combos should work with both map structure as well with important downbeats transitions. So big white ticks are the main guide, but patterns such as this 01:00:969 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2) – should always belong in the same combo or work with some sort of gimmick, such as NC all white ticks, etc.
Visually you need to work on your blankets in the entire map 01:04:569 (1,2) - . Some are ok, but there’s a lot of them that are really off and that’s not appealing to both modders and players.
Try to avoid really noticeable overlaps in case your map is not structured based on them 01:55:140 (6,3) - . This are really close on the timeline and will cause you trouble in the future in case you want to move this map forward in the ranking process.
Whenever you sort your patterns always remember that more spaced objects as general rule have more emphasis than small spaced ones. So in this case 02:00:454 (8,9,1) – the object that’s more emphasized is 02:00:626 (9) – a weak upbeat instead of the important downbeat 02:00:797 (1) - .
Symmetry is really powerful on this types of patterns 02:09:712 (5,6,1) -
Avoid stacking really close objects 02:10:397 (1,2,3) – because of reading issues. If you’re map is not planning to use this a lot, not using at all might be the best choice unless you feel like giving a trick for a specific part of the music.

Insane V2

I think that you can generally map to the music more, rather than the vocals. In the beginning, you do an amazing job of both hitsounding and representing the music, but once the vocals start, that completely disappears. I believe that you can find a way to map to both vocals while also retaining an element of the music. S3RL's genre is happy hardcore, which is very beat heavy, so not mapping to the drums makes the entire map feel kind of off and underrepresented

In addition to that, the storyboard for the kiai should be flashes every white tick instead of to the vocals which you are doing now. you can map to the vocals (while also mapping to the drums of course) but the flashes should emphasis each bass kick, which imo is much more important and intense than the vocals.

00:48:626 (3,3) - sliders like these skip a drum beat, which make the song less intense than it should be. Even if you were to end a slider on a white tick, it would be better than skipping it completely in techno songs like these

01:25:826 (1) - perfect opportunity to map the drums! I would add a note on the red tick before this and make this entire slider into a stream

01:41:597 (1) - section starting from here is dope, but I would change up some slider shapes. For example, 01:43:312 (5) - you use this shape the whole time throughout this section, and it starts to get old pretty quickly. I suggest changing the shape up every two times you use a slider art like shape. this way you can still copy and paste once and be half as creative as you could be

(take it from the master of lazy sliderart right here)

02:47:426 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - you seem to have more jumps/single taps in the least emphasized part than you do for the rest of the song. it may not seem too big of a deal since the jumps are small, but having the player tap the whole time throughout a quiet part doesn't really fit an insane

also it might be better if you added a silent sliderslide.wav

In general, I would map more to the music rather than vocals, and take care to map the nuances in the music like the 1/4 streams or the subtle drum beats

Helloo, from myu que.

Since you only asked to mod insane v2 i'll do it, but if you ever want this to be ranked, you will still need a complete mapset.

Increase difficulty settings of your map, od6.5 is too low for insane and drain 3 is even more unnecessary, OD7.5-8 should do and Hp6-7 is best.
Overall, you need to fix on your consistency of spacings,as most appear to be very random, give them more shapes to format your map into something both pleasing to look at, better reading and playability.

00:14:426 (4,5,6) - Spacings like thes for example should have a more clear distance on itself.
And 00:16:569 (1,2,3,4) - should have a better looking rectangle too, like copy pasting circles 1 and 2 and paste on spot 3 would make the shape better.
00:17:597 (8,1,2) - Spacings here and movement curve feel awkward and could be further improved.
00:19:655 (2,3) - Also should just mention this but 00:19:655 (2,3) - with 1,6x just doesnt look good, you should use 1.0x distance like you do with the triples.
00:32:683 (6) - This slider should end on the red tick to fit better with the kick on the beat

As i keep looking through your map i should mention you need a more stable hitsounding, that fits best with the beat of the music rather than the lyrics, like you have to many finishes where it doesn't fit the song properly, these are reserved for the parts with most impact on the song, like start of a kiai or end of it, you know what i mean. And claps should be used on 2/4 and 4/4s of the beat, not the red ticks or before previous points i said (check timing tab's right top corner to see what i mean)

Also i will point out how you should give new combos to your map, with this section as an example, you fix the rest yourself afterwards:
00:46:740 - From here to 00:57:712 - is a more perfect way to give new combos (except you need to remove combo of 00:50:512 (1) - and give new combo to 00:50:855 (3) - and then it is right) You see how consistent the new combos are and how it fits the rhythm of the music, you can't do like on 00:57:712 - where it goes too short, and then the next one is alot longer and skips the right place to give a new combo, and so on goes to an unstable way of new combos.

Your kiai times should be more properly addressed, 00:46:740 - This one that should actually end 00:57:712 - here as thats the right place for it, due to the change of song intensity, the big white tick helps that btw (and so new combos as well if you follow them correctly) but also the fact that you ended on a place where the song would get actually more intense and hyped till 01:07:312 - <this is the place where you should have ended kiai, where the intense part ends, and the slow part begins. do that to the last kiai time as well, and imo remove the middle kiai, as it doesn't need as much hype.

01:08:683 (4) - This is also a bad way to end this section, the slider feels too long for a high difficulty map, and then it has an awkward pause till the next object. It would have been better to replace it with a spinner that ends here 01:09:883 - , same thing can be done to last kiai time.

Spacing
Since you seem to be a relatively new mapper, I'll just list some guidelines to help.

00:33:369 (2,3) - Decrease spacing to ~2.00 max
00:33:883 (1) - 00:44:683 (2) - Why is this whole section spaced greater than the chorus(kiai)?
Keep non-kiai spacing consistent between ~1.8 and 2.00
Vary kiai spacing between ~2.00 and 2.5

Other

01:57:369 (6) - Try to avoid reverse sliders that reverse more than once.
02:13:655 (9) - Map at least up to 02:14:512 since there's a finish sound in the music on that time.
03:23:083 (1,1) - 03:23:426 (2,2) - Try to avoid direct overlap like these.

Hi here! Still a noob modder, so take everything with a grain of salt.

[Insane v2]
As you requested in #modreqs, I'll only look at this difficulty.

In this mod I'll focus on rhythm (rhythm being where you decide to put circles/slider repeats/sliderends).
Your rhythm choices generally aren't bad, but there is room for improvement in some places.

00:12:454 (1,2,3) - While this isn't necessarily wrong, I'd like to point out that the sounds on 1 and 2 are much stronger than the one on 3.
Treating 3 in the same way as 1 and 2 seems a bit odd in that sense. Maybe a 1/4th slider would fit better on 2. That way, the 3rd sound will be less emphasized than the first two.

00:12:797 (3,4) - Adding to the previous comment, the sliderend of 3 and 4 follow the same sounds as 00:12:454 (1,2) , but the 3rd sound doesn't get any emphasis at all here. Placing a circle or sliderend on 00:13:140 would make your rhythm choices more consistent.

00:17:940 (1) - This is the only place where you put a repeat slider on these sounds, so it seems a bit out of place. Try using a rhythm more similar to the previous ones.

00:23:769 (2,3,4,5) - I can see how you're following the vocals with these 3/4th sliders, but that way you're completely ignoring the sounds on the red ticks. It would be better to turn these into 1/2 sliders so the sliderends fall on the sounds. This occurs in multiple places, so make sure to check throughout the map.

01:08:683 (1) - This spinner seems a bit out of place, as the music is the same as the section following it. It would be better to just map this with circles and sliders. Same goes for this spinner 03:20:340 (1) .

01:12:797 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - 01:14:169 (1,2,1,2) - Even though the music's intensity doesn't change a lot here, your rhythm does change a lot.
You have 8 circles followed by 4 sliders, which makes it feel as if the part with 8 circles is more intense, while it isn't in the song.
It would be better to have a more even amount of circles and sliders for every measure in this section.
Same goes for the section following this 03:21:712 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - 03:23:083 (1,2,1,2) .

01:25:826 (1,2,3,4,5) - There's no sound on 4, so there also shouldn't be a circle there. It would also be better if you kept emphasizing the percussion instead of doing it only in this instance.
03:37:483 - This kind of percussion also comes back here, so it should also be emphasized in a similar way.

01:42:969 (1,2,3,4,5) - This stream seems to be a bit overmapped. Even though there are 1/4th sounds, they are barely audible, so it's a bit weird to make a stream out of them. Maybe a 3/4th slider would fit better here.

02:37:483 (4) - 02:40:397 (6) - It seems weird to not emphasize the 1/4th sounds in the music at all, maybe it would be better to use streams like you did before.

03:40:569 (1,1) - It's a bit odd to finish with these 1/4th sliders while you didn't really use any during the whole map.
I think 1/2 circles or 1/4 circles would work fine.
