Hi everyone,

Currently working on a skin for myself. I'm very curious--is there a way to make it so that a missed note still has a "click" hitsound to help maintain rhythm when I miss a note?

Thanks,

It depends on which hitsound you want to use for this miss sound. Check normal-, soft- and drumhitnormal.wav and decide which should it be. Then, copy and paste this hitsound on your desktop or so and name it combobreak.mp3. But you know, you can no longer hear when you miss, as far as I understood?

the sound file for a missed note is "combobreak.wav" however, this only applies when you have a 20+ combo. Sound effects aren't supposed to play if you have anything lower as it can sound very spammy on streams for example.

The miss hitsound will always be off time as it is played in the moment the circle is entirely missed -> at the end of the late 50 area.
If you want to keep the given beat so badly you'd better have a metronome playing along with you (only works for singlebpm though).
Or don't miss :^)
