spinners sometimes muck up the music

Occasionally whenever a spinner starts up or ends, for a brief moment the music goes quiet.

I notice this tends to happen with specific beatmaps, such as mine when I was working on it, or with the spinner on this one.

There are probably more, and if it's a more common problem, I could probably spend some time looking for more.

i think the old spinner sound made the bass go wild and sound crappy, but the new one should fix that. what about your song?

I think the new one still does this

. Probably sound card audio volume normalization causing this? I don't think it is *directly* osu!'s fault.

Hmm, more looking into it reveals that it doesn't exactly happen every single time on the exact same sliders (it just happens a lot on certain songs).

Anyway, I have a creative SB Audigy ZX2 if that helps at all, though I don't believe I have any post-processing effects enabled.

i think it's probably an accumulation of bass or something
happens to me on "heavy" music when PC volume is too high
