Also If you willing to give this a chance with community vote, I would suggest to have 3-4 certain judgers (just like taiko mascot votes) so It would be much fair

as for mania, it's quite impossible to make it to 5.5 stars, mine is like totally impossible to win but it is just right for the contest at 5,5+

A little question regarding the portion of the commuity voting; is the winner selected 100% based on the community voting, or are there some internal discussions too?

One of the information given in the contest rules is maps are treated as extra only when the diff reaches 5.5 or above.
Mania at 5.5+ is very insane and i think it is a good idea to reduce the star difficulty condition for mania (only)

Easy: x < 1,5
Normal: 1,5 < x < 2,25
Hard: 2,25 < x < 3,75
Insane: 3,75 < x < 5,25
Extra: 5,25 < x
Also why follow star difficult? This system still broken and if someone push the map forward to be harder to get extra icon which would be really bad imo

5.4 > insane O
5.4 > Extra O
5.4 > Insane,Extra X
5.3 > Insane O / 5.4 > Extra O
5.4 > Insane / 5.3 > Extra X

I'm guessing they mean you can only submit ENHIX, so if you have a 6 or 7* diff (don't know why they stated 5.5 as a minimum value), you can't submit more lower star diffs in order to keep a consistent difficulty gap. If you have a high star last diff, that'll be your extra.

I've updated the OP with answers to a few of the pressing questions posted.
If submissions close on the 25th Oct, it won't even been a month since the contest was announced (29th Sept), let alone since submissions opened (7th Oct)... Is this correct?

The second answer explicitly say that there will be one month after submissions are open, and the current deadline doesn't even gives us one month since the announcement of the contest (28th of September). Now we suddenly find ourselves less than 2 weeks until submissions are closed, while it should be, at the very least, close to 4 weeks considering submissions opened around lasst Friday (the first time I noticed they were open was October 7th).Ephemeral wrote:

I'll extend the contest deadline until the 7th of November so that there's a full month since submissions opened, just to be safe.
I have a question. So let's say there is a 5+ star map. Is that insane or extra? Would it be insane because it says 5.5+ stars is extra?
