During both pasue and fail screens there is this continuous sound, kinda like blowing over the neck of bottle...? (lol). It keeps playing along even if i have completely different failsound in my skin. Is there any way to remove it? I have checked a lot of skins and it's always there which really annoys me.

Yes, create a blank sound file called pause-loop.wav or pause-loop.mp3 into your skin. It's been a recent addition, so most skins wouldn't have it.
