Anyone here play The Denpa Men? I randomly downloaded the demo to check it out and it seems to be an RPG where you catch your partners. It seemed pretty cool and had some charm to it, but I have no idea how long or deep the full game is. Anyone know anything about it?
Soaprman
No, but I did recently pick up an eShop game called Art of Balance. It's pretty cool. It's a puzzle game where the game gives you pieces and you have to build a tower that doesn't fall over.

It's really satisfying to fail in this game.
Azure_Kite
Ah, Art of Balance is awesome. Although some of the later missions are really, really difficult. At least, for me :D
rust45
Ah yes, I did try the demo for that as well. It was a cool physics tech demo but I didn't feel like putting money into it.
Behon
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is out. If you like platformers and for whatever reason missed the original Wii version, you should REALLY consider picking it up.
NaomiMinette
I want to trade my Wii version for it, but I don't think it's worth replaying it... There was also apparently an issue with the downscaling and framerate.

UPDATE!

We now have a Skype community! Contact me or jericho2442 if you wish to be added to it. Also, please fill this out so we know when you're active and what games you have!
Soaprman
Posting because:

1. Blaze silently edited the update into his post instead of making a new post
2. It doesn't mention that the orange cells refer to games with online multiplayer (though you could probably figure that out). Single player games are listed for discussion's sake or something?
3. You can actually contact anyone already in the group to get in since we just have to drag you onto the chat.
4. This post count of mine ain't gonna increase itself!
NaomiMinette
I only mentioned the two of us because it's not like everyone knows who's currently in it, but I can add a list if you guys want.
Young Link 4
Why didn't I post here yet? Probably because i rarely post in the forum at all. Now, after I've finished FE:A once for now, i could finally do the same with Kid Icarus, but... somehow there are other games etc. Typical problem. Also have MK7 (and TotA)

Wait, you're -6 right? Not -5. I know because I'm -5 and you're an hour out.

NaomiMinette
See, this is why timezones suck... *sigh*

Wait... the heck... Who edited my timezone...

Actually, due to DST we're both -5 right now and you should be -4.

EDIT: See http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=159
Saso-Hikage
Wait, so does the list include DST or not ?
I'm kinda confused. With DST my time zone would be +2, but the standard time zone would be +1.
So what should I add to the list ?
Soaprman
If you're normally -5, don't write -4 to indicate GMT/UTC/whatever. It's ambiguous and means all the cells need to be updated when time changes. If you feel the need to indicate, write -5+1. It's not ambiguous that way and when DST ends, if you forget to change it back, people can work it out themselves.
mm201
^ @ Soap. It makes zero sense to include DST there since it keeps changing.
NaomiMinette
Let's just exclude DST to prevent any more confusion :o
deadbeat
my time zone in the 3ds sheet looks so out of place D:
Ekaru
Let's all just move to the UK. No more DST issues. :D
Soaprman
No way... that would cost me too much money. You guys move here.

Anyone else planning on getting Animal Crossing? If so, please consider adding my Friend Code (1504-6873-3698) and PMing me with yours. I'm going to be playing the hell out of that game both online and off.

absolutely will be getting this game. I'm at work so I don't know my friend code at the moment, nor do I think I had mine added to the OP yet so I'll do that later :D
Professor Prinny
Well I don't think it would hurt for me to join the club.
My friend code is: 3411-0337-9728

Everyone, move to Australia. We have osu!

And Kangaroos.

Info for European players:
Ghostlight finally released a patch for "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked".
It fixes the bugs in the characters' names and some other fatal bugs, which let the game freeze or crash.
You can download the patch on the Nintendo eShop.
NaomiMinette
I posted my thoughts already in the Skype group, but for those that aren't in it (or can't be bothered trying to find it :P), I bought Groove Heaven in the eShop. Here are my thoughts:

SPOILER
okay, so the main story is pretty short. there's also Time Attack mode (with three difficulties) which is essentially a marathon till you run out of time or lives. overall, the game is highly repetitive and isn't worth $4, but hey... was worth trying it (and i had the money anyway, so why not)
To further explain, the game centers around tapping (or pressing buttons; you have to change to them in Options) to the beat, where one is MOVE and the other is TURN (yes, you even have to turn to the beat); if you mistime your hits/presses, the character you play as gets mad (which is actually kinda cute XD). Though the game gets progressively harder, the game just isn't long enough for the cost. There's practically little/no replay value, too. If you plan on getting it, wait till it's offered as a Club Nintendo "end of the year" reward or something; otherwise, I don't recommend getting it at all (unless $4 USD is nothing to you, lol).
Ekaru
$4 is the cost of a good-sized shake. Sure it's worth less than a shake? :P

Yes. Also, Time Attack makes the repetition of the game even worse.
Professor Prinny
To you Fire Emblem: Awakening players in Europe.
Due to a mistake Nintendo has made, If you have already bought the Rouges and/or Future Past packs, you can already play part 2 of both of them early.
Saso-Hikage
New Smash Bros. for the 3DS in 2014 !!
NaomiMinette
Judging from appearance, the only difference between the 3DS and Wii U versions is that the 3DS version will get a cel shaded/comic look.

EDIT: Man, this looks painful--I mean--fun!

Shohei Ohtani

A new firmware update is available. Adds a whole load of stuff to the StreetPass Mii Plaza, including new StreetPass games and new puzzles of Mario U/Luigi U, Xenoblade, and Heroines (What?).

Annoyingly, I cannot access the StreetPass Store to get any of the new games since it crashes whenever I try use the store.
Azure_Kite
Yeah, it crashes for everyone at the moment.
Professor Prinny
Are you guys sure the StreetPass Store crashes for everyone? Just checked and yeah they were for Europe mostly so I'm assuming in some way they are now fixed if I managed to do it.

Enjoying the new games atm though.
Note that there are free hats associated with the game purchased and all the games can be bought in a bundle for a cheaper price only during your first purchase.
rust45
I got a firmware update but I'm not seeing anything new in the streetpass plaza. The only new thing I see is being able to backup save data on download games.
NaomiMinette
I think some people posted in the wrong thread :P

You may want to read this: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/06/new_3ds_firmware_update_600_11u_now_live
Also note that the new StreetPass stuff is currently only available in Europe and Japan.
Ekaru
Only in EU and JPN, eh? Ah, so *that* is why Emily Rogers said last night's update would be interesting mainly just for EU and JPN... ;_;

Damn you, NoA! ;_;
