Round 40: Divebomb Combos

Nominated by m980. Consists of a straight line of hitobjects traveling from somewhere near the top of the screen (or the middle) to somewhere near the bottom - as if the objects are diving. The last object is almost always a slider. Divebomb combos vary in size.

Map(s) that use this technique
The Village People - Y.M.C.A. mapped by iNiS replicated by Rolled
Kevin Rudolf ft. Lil Wayne - Let It Rock mapped by m980
IOSYS - Utage wa Eien ni ~SHD~ mapped by DJPop

Nothing out of the normal patterns that are used, it's just an specific formation. Then again it does have some sort of visual appeal if used correctly. 4'd
On a side note, glad to see the mapping techniques threads alive again, good job NoHItter!

These feel so awesome to play when used in the right place. Most of my maps have one somewhere lol

They actually feel and look cool when used correctly
4!

too general. I don't think it's a technique at all. 4 though because it's good to have proper spacing and all that jazz.

I agree with ziin.

a simple yet a great technique, not only for the visual appeal but the flow is great too.

I love how these patterns feel so smooth while playing plus it's easy to create nice symmetry using these kind of combos.
Sure
Feels good when it followed pitch of the music. But HardRock kills them. :(
Otherwise, it's too general to me.

Hmm, i don't like to play fast 1/2 when notes are in straight line.

That example doesn't look good. It has to have some sort of curve or pattern on it. But most ones are cool. :)
