it could be annoying for the mod if I have to bug them whenever I wanted to change the text (to see if it didn't disturb the playability of the map), it's much easier if mappers can change it themselves

still this is kind of a unknown feature so I'm kinda pessimistic. this still got my support though

Why not just make it as accessible as changing slider track colours, possible but pretty hidden and has been written in the osu itself.

As I wrote in the original thread, title text can be made really awesome but is highly underused. One argument is that this will be abused, but that's what modding is for. Overall, I really see no harm in letting mappers be able to control their own title text.

peppy disabled the function that you get votes every (whatever) only those who have some remaining from before have stars and can drop them (vote stars are not the same as kudosu stars)

Bumping this thread, because I believe is something that could be useful to mappers/storyborders/MAT to change the title text themselves (in case if they really want to) instead of depending on BATS and Admins to change it for you. In addition, it is less hassle for the moderator and more benefit for you.
Let's not let this thread die this time.

Nice bump.

Finding perfect matching RGB colors isn't that easy, unless you know what you're doing.
The timing might be easier though

This could be useful to experiment unlimited times without poking all the BATs in the world.
The one who'll rank/approve it should check it before that. So that the user didn't ruin anything

This request is similar to the "change the genre yourself" request

Totally forgot you could even do this, definitely worth including since it promotes creativity in mapping/SBing, and BNs/QATs could check for any issues or abuse in the same way as anything else.

We do have this, but AFAIK only QATs can use it (if it's not the case, please tell me) and BN can see it

I see no harm into making this available for everyone, as long as they know how to use it properly

Totally agree with this.
I think the idea can be "This feature can be used if the map has been ranked/qualified."
So that's means its visible for normal users when their map has been ranked/qualfied

Bumping this. I don't see any possibility of this being abused. Its really an underused feature so why not give it some love? As far as I can remember, you can change the scrolling speed and text colors of the song title and artist name.
