I don't think I agree there, it's just rhythm variation here. Maybe a long slider at 5-6 would work but that's the same rhythm at the beginning of the phrase. I think in normal it might be better to mix it up and keep it interesting. The overlap is pretty standard here, just keeping with flow from 6.
00:14:149 (4) - Nazi suggestion, but the turn on the tick could be more polished, so the red node is on the tick (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5987276)

I don't really like the one combo inserted before the downbeat in a normal. I deleted the other one.
01:16:175 (6,7,8) - Don't feel like this flows too well considering it's "technically" a 77,5 bpm triple lol xd newbies would most likely overdo this, so maybe 1/2 slider + single tap? (The single tap could stack with the next long slider)
I think these kinds of things can work in Normal, they just need to be introduced. Consider the slider 01:14:521 (3) and how it introduces that idea. I think it can be nice since it is Normal, not Easy.

Very safe mapping style, solid :)

Overall I'd advice to rework some sections in the easy diff to make the beats more "newbie" friendly, so it appeals more to them. A re-structure of the rhythm for the downbeats will definitely go a long way ^^ The rest of the diffs seem pretty much good to go with a few more mods :) I wish you all good luck with the set! I will rework on the Easy diff completely because there is some lack of flow, and I don't like the easy :c

There are a lot of meanings for shi, two of these are 四, which is the kanji for 4, and 死 for death. It's a really nice wordplay tbh, since the diff is the 4th in the mapset and the anime is (unsurprisingly) surrounded around death xD So yeah, the diff name makes a lot of sense for the mapset ^^ I hope that clears things up :)

The map started immediately as the music starts, so it might make some beginner players got startled because the HP bar above would raise quickly in one second before the first object appear, and they might have ended up missed it. By set up the AudioLeadIn into 2000, the player would have some time to get prepared before start playing ;)

* How about changing the background into the rankable resolution? Cropping it into 1024 x 768 would be safer to pass the ranking process owo/

* Please make the timing points across all the diff in this mapset consistent >w<. Since there's the uninherited timing points that got conflicted in the Easy diff

It's NC on each downbeat in the beginning, then you switch to each second downbeat after 00:09:187 - and then there appear some rather random NCs, examples 00:25:313 (1) - 00:28:208 (1) - 00:38:546 (1) - 01:04:597 (1) - , and there are also some missing NCs I think, example 00:35:651 (3) - ?

  1. are the SV changes necessary? Normal doesn't use any so it doesn't make sense spread-wise to use them in the lower diff. o.o
  2. 00:57:154 (4) - imo the reverse doesn't fit well because the vocals stop on the reverse and there are some pretty dominant sounds afterwards that are completely ignored. :c I mean, yes they're all covered by the slider, but beats like 00:59:221 - and 00:59:634 - work better if clickable, imo. D:
  3. 01:25:272 (4) - similar here, the last beat 01:26:926 - is too dominant to not have it clickable. :c
  4. 01:28:477 - useless green line?

  6. 01:13:694 (1) - hmmh, the extended sliders (the folllowing ones as well) match the vocals nicely, but 1/2 slider + 2 circles would still play better, imo, because the circle feels more like it's disrupting the melody, if you have two circles it plays smoother tho and you'd still have everything emphasized. Alternatively, you could try using the same rhythm as in Shi > http://puu.sh/r5byb.jpg . It feels smoother to play as well, because it only uses sliders.

This pattern is ok imo. It's just folding around the 00:41:854 (5). In my experience , new players get confused by rhythms more than slider shapes. Also, this is Normal, and there is an Easy diff in the set, it's not restrained to the most basic of placements, especially considering the music's character.

* 01:01:288 (4) - Add NC at these note for the sake of consistency and emphasizing the downbeat ;3
I prefer the current NC pattern to follow the vocal periods, adding a NC here simply makes the combos too short imo.

    Considering vocals, there is no change until 00:26:347, the 3/4 beat. The sliders make sense for Normal when following vocals as they hold here, it's too much to try and fit in sounds from the strings, etc.

    The first was fixed since it was likely just bad flow. The second I can't see as confusing, consider this is Normal with an Easy in the set, and it's following it a rhythm pattern that has been repeated.

    Same for 00:56:120 (2,3) - and 01:04:390 (2,3) - and 01:16:175 (6,7,8) - and 01:24:238 (3,4) -
    Bah I just can't really agree there. There is one 1/1 stack preceding these, and plenty of 1/2 going on all over the place. I think it's pretty standard in Normal.

* How about changing the Stack Leniency in this diff into 4 to make it safer? Since 3 was too low >.< I like to use a low Stack Leniency in all of my maps.

* 00:08:773 (4), 00:08:980 (4), 00:09:083 (4) - Remove the clap from those part that I mentioned please. It doesn't fit the music well >.<. In my opinion, using the normal sampleset was more than enough to emphasize the drum from the main music Already changed.

* 00:13:735 (3) - Um, the reverse part of this slider was mostly covered by the slider frame of 00:13:322 (2) and made it unrankable. Please fix it >.<. How about changing the placement like this instead to avoid the overlap?

  3. 00:12:908 (1,2,3) - can you re-arrange this so the reverse of (3) isn't covered by anything? :3 something similar to 01:10:799 (3,4,5) - maybe Sure, I've tried another thing, I hope is fine right now.
  4. 00:52:191 (1,2) - Is this intentional? Shouldn't (1) blanket previous circles? o.o It is.
  5. 01:05:424 (1) - Consider ending the slider earlier to emphasize the vocals starting at 01:06:664 - ? Feels a bit off while playing that there's something so dominant in the middle of an object, but there's nothing to emphasize it. Yeah, you're right, but I'm, not really feel well at destroy my slider just because vocals.
  6. 01:13:694 (1) - hmmh, the extended sliders (the folllowing ones as well) match the vocals nicely, but 1/2 slider + 2 circles would still play better, imo, because the circle feels more like it's disrupting the melody, if you have two circles it plays smoother tho and you'd still have everything emphasized. Alternatively, you could try using the same rhythm as in Shi > http://puu.sh/r5byb.jpg . It feels smoother to play as well, because it only uses sliders. Not at all, I think that two circles are perfectly playable and good enough for me.

[General]
One issue I have with most diffs is the emphasizing of sounds on downbeats and generally clickable sounds. I will explain what I mean below.

[Easy]
  1. 00:06:292 (4) - The problem with this, is that it ends where another sound starts. I mean, the loud sound ends on 00:06:602, but you end the slider at 00:06:706, which is inconsistent with what you mapped before. I suggest you cut the slider to the blue tick.
  2. 00:08:360 (2) - I'm pretty sure reverse sliders like these are too hard for easy diffs, especially since you didn't use it again in the map. You can replace it with a 1/1 slider like 00:07:533 (1).
  3. 00:14:149 (3) - This slider shape feels messy and doesn't look really good. Something like this would look better:

  4. 00:24:073 (2) - I don't know if it's intentional, but the right part is a bit longer than the left.
  5. 00:25:727 (2) - Shouldn't NC be here instead of 00:25:313 (1), since it's the downbeat and the vocal gets stronger?
  6. 00:28:622 (1,2) - ^^
  7. 00:38:546 (1,2) - ^^

  2. .9 spacing seems too small, especially considering that Easy used a higher DS of 1.0, and hard is far higher at 1.5
  3. 00:05:052 (5) - Feels unfitting as a reverse slider, consider making it a 1/1 slider instead, more similar to the previous combos.
  4. 00:11:254 (6) - Also feels unfitting as a reverse, but here that is mostly because the end of it is a very strong note that should preferably be clickabe
  5. 00:22:419 (1,2,3) - Try to revise it so that 3 cuts evenly in the middle of 1 and 2, rather than being more under 1 than it is under 2. Woah
  6. 00:42:267 (1,2) - The overlap in these two notes don't look too good. Maybe Ctrl+J 2 and move like so??
  7. 00:57:153 (1) - Maybe make a slider instead similar to the ones in Easy or Gero's hard, as this spinner feels a bit too short overall.
  8. 01:01:702 (5) - Consider making this a 1/2 slider like how you did at 01:03:356 (8) - , since these two bits in the song are incredibly similar.
[Gero's Hard]
  1. I personally feel the two circle-slider stacks are overused, and look terrifying when this happens on shorter sliders like 00:03:191 (5,6,1) - or 00:11:461 (8,9,1) - since these sliders nearly get buried under the stack.
  2. 00:11:461 (8,9,1,2,3,4,5) - I reccomend using a rhythm like this instead, as the circles at the end of the slider does not fit right at all.
  3. 00:12:908 (1,2,3) - The finishes here are rather loud for how many there are, consider reducing the hitsound volume for these few notes.
  4. 00:29:035 (1,3) - These sliders are a bit weird, because they nearly look like they're just normal curved sliders. I suggest either -making them normal curved sliders -or exaggerating the straight vs curved parts to make it clearer that's the intended shape.
  5. 00:33:170 (3,4) - I think this would play better if these two were instead a slider like 00:33:583 (5) - so that they could match, especially because 00:33:377 (4) - does not feel like a note that should be clicked in the rhythms you have been using.
  6. 00:33:997 (1,2) - Maybe have two 1/2 sliders here instead, for the same reason that clicking on (2) feels awkward as it's a weaker note than the end of (1)
  7. 00:37:305 (5,6,7) - How about a rhythm like this instead, to follow the violin better?
  8. 00:47:953 (6,1) - I don't hear what these notes are mapped to? maybe this instead? I feel that suggested rhythm would work better with how the song goes really calm for a second there :)
  9. 00:51:261 (6,1) - This time around, these fit better as there is the more audible strings in the background. Nice~ (00:51:571 (2) - maybe get rid of this circle though, to better fit those same strings.)
  10. 01:05:424 (1) - OH MAN THAT'S A REALLY NICE SLIDER .. though it feels like it goes on for too long, since other vocals start up in the middle of it.
  11. 01:10:799 (3) - The reverse arrow is very heavily covered by the preceding 01:10:179 (5,6,1) - stack.

  2. 00:01:537 (1,2,3) - You have a lot of patterns like this, where the two circles and then the slider are positioned very linearly. In cases where the slider comes straight out of it (i.e. 00:05:672 (1,2,3) - ), it works. But when the slider is curved, especially when it's going perpendicular to the line of the hitcircles to the slider head, it feels a bit awkward and very angular. Why not consider making some of these throughout the map curved patterns like so instead? http://puu.sh/rhU80/3f956705cd.jpg Doing it this way can feel much more natural to play :)
  3. 00:10:634 (1) - Why is this NC'd? It happens several times throughout the diff. In these patterns, I suggest removing the nc from either the 00:10:634 (1) - first circle, or the 00:10:841 (1) - slider, so that groups of three 00:10:634 (1,2,1) - like these can be grouped by color too.
  4. 00:12:908 (1,2,3) - It sounds a bit loud to have so many finishes in a row, even when it fits. Maybe reduce the hitsound volume for this portion with an inherited timing point?
  5. 00:22:832 (1,4) - I dont think this stack works well, as this overall pattern ends up flowing awkwardly when the angles are so harsh. Consider revising to make it go around more smoothly.
  6. 00:45:575 (1,2,3,4,5) - Maybe ctrl+g 00:45:989 (2) - and 00:46:816 (4) - , so it goes more nicely back and forth? Quick comparison
  7. 00:48:883 (1,2,3,4,5) - Same suggestion as ^
  8. 01:04:597 (2,3) - Maybe make two 1/2 sliders instead, as I feel the end of 2 more deserves to be clickable than where 3 is, as it's a stronger sound in the vocals and the song overall.

Besides what I pointed out, I found this to be a really nice mapset, especially the Shi difficulty.

It's not for the same rhythm, but they're very close to each other and very similar, the player will expect to not need as much movement for the next slider.     That pattern breaks flow to 00:44:335 (4). I don't see a problem with the 00:42:267 (1,2). It's just wrapping around 00:41:854 (5) and fitting in theme.
  7. 00:57:153 (1) - Maybe make a slider instead similar to the ones in Easy or Gero's hard, as this spinner feels a bit too short overall.I think a measure for the spinner is fine for normal, and it's just fits the music better imo.

I know it is Light Rain, so i suggest only pattern :D. Please notice 00:02:777 suggestion :)

  2. 00:09:18 (1,2,3) : Ces blankets, par exemple, sont biens mais pas parfaits, tu pourrais largement les améliorer, et faire un flow meilleur.
  3. 00:14:149 (3) : J'pense qu'ici tu pourrais faire ce slider en symétrie, en forme de "M" comme ceci :
    J'trouve ça mieux, et plus joli ^^ Après, déplace l'ensemble des objets avec un CTRL+A, c'est bien~
  4. 00:15:803 (1) : Le blanket de la fin de ce slider avec le slider suivant est horriblement mal fait, j'pense que tu pourrais edit ça sérieusement ^^

    non, je trouve que ton slider reste une bonne idée quand même. mais je l'ai pas changé, car je voulais essayer de garder quelques sliders avec un style assez différent, pour pouvoir montrer aux débutants qu'il y a beaucoup de possibilités de sliders!

Well, in first place your diff is a light rain, the only "trouble" I found in your diff is some droplets are a little hard to pick, so all the mod will be only sugerences. With this in mind, here we go.

00:06:706 (2) - Make this a little more closer to 00:06:292 (1) - I failed the droplets in that slider lots times XD.

00:12:908 (1,2,3) - Make them a little more horizontally. Same as previous ↑.

00:22:419 (1) - Make an hyperdash to 00:23:246 (2) - Or reduce the distance. I prefer the first to exalt the clap.

00:59:428 (4) - Reduce the distance a little.

Tu devrais mettre la Fréquence par sliders à 2 .
Je te conseillerais de monter la vélocité aussi un peu ( 1,64 )

00:00:090 (1) - Un peu plus courbé voir même totalement horizontal , tu décale sur la gauche pour rendre le jump plus simple.

00:05:879 (4) - Un peu plus de velocité dans le slider ? Pour rendre un meilleur effet de début de jump

00:06:706 (2) - Pourquoi pas une reverse arrow 1/8 ça rendrais mieux je pense qu'un long slider .

00:16:630 (5) - 00:18:284 (5) - Inverse le sens de ses deux sliders ça donne un petit effet de jump sans trop de difficulté plus fun que juste suivre la ligne

01:25:892 (3) - Réduit de 1 la taille du slider rend le plus rapide et met une note pour créer un HDash sur la fin du slider ça rend la puissance .
