Really good map lol, it's been so long that I saw 5 min map without being an expert diff

  1. normal-sliderslide14 is not used at all.
  2. I'm not good at it, but I notice that some of this piano hitsounds are a bit delayed, from RC

    Hitsounds must have an acceptable range of delay under 5ms, unless there's a special purpose. Every hitsound file should start in time, preferrably at 0ms. This is to ensure that every map doesn't sound mistimed, and therefore could provide acceptably synchronized rhythm feedback to players.
    I'm sure normal-hitwhistle10.wav and normal-hitwhistle5.wav are delayed, but I'm not that sure, you should check other hitsounds as well!
  3. 00:49:847 (1) - Slider end unsnapped
  4. 02:06:765 (4) - offscreen, maybe you can stack it to 2 and make it blanket towards 5?
  5. 01:11:823 (1) - God that looks ugly, if you want to make a slider art, you can do something with wiggles on slider instead of this, you can do better like 03:03:451 (1)
  6. 01:13:567 (2,3,4) - Tbh it'll play better if this moves outwards the center like 1. So you can do this http://imgur.com/AFzbWx7 looks nice doesnt it?
  7. 05:10:570 - after this section, the timing seems off, you might want to check again
  8. 05:10:428 (1) - sliderend supposed to be at 05:10:570, in fact, maybe you can just change it to a circle at 05:10:570 instead.
Sorry for the short mod, you can further improve the map of course but this pretty good, really fun to play. I'm a bit dissapointed that you only put piano hitsounds at refrain, there are some places that are good like 04:03:800 - 04:24:207.

I can't really confirm, but personally I want to all to be 3 of those sliders to be facing towards the middle - because that was somehow my natural instinct to map that part. The flow is generally ok too, so no change.

That means the timing for the ranked version is wrong, because I stole the timing points there D: Personally I'm not blessed with timing abilities, so I'll ask a good timer to check it :P Thanks for pointing that out
  8. 05:10:428 (1) - sliderend supposed to be at 05:10:570, in fact, maybe you can just change it to a circle at 05:10:570 instead. Nope, I playback'ed it a few times and it's suppose to end at the point it is now. However, I changed 05:11:817 (5) - to a 1/8 snap because it is the right snap but not sure if it affects playability - atleast it doesn't affect mine.
Sorry for the short mod, you can further improve the map of course but this pretty good, really fun to play. I'm a bit dissapointed that you only put piano hitsounds at refrain, there are some places that are good like 04:03:800 - 04:24:207. Actually I want to hitsound that part too, but I can't transcrip the whole song myself. And furthermore, nobody has uploaded the full version of this song on youtube or anywhere else. And yes, the chords in the kiai are all improvised by myself. I hope it sounds good now, I'm open to hitsound suggestions!

  4. 01:20:370 (2,5) - would avoid this overlap since its kinda out of place with how clean the rest of the kiai is, maybe use 1.8 and 2.1 ds instead of 1.7/2.0 or something to avoid it
  5. 01:54:381 (1) - could NC this if you want for a bit better readability for the change in direction for this pattern
  6. 01:57:870 (10) - finish (+whisle)
  7. 03:08:335 (3,4) - ayy fck it nazi stack a bit off
  8. 03:26:823 (3,4,1) -linear flow for that build down to (1) doesn't really make it stand out imo why not place it something like 108/356 so you have a sharper turn and it fits with the previous pattern
  9. 04:18:626 (5) - can put this bit more up left to make that V line for this combo

There is a jump 01:01:533 (6,7) - to represent the high pitch melody. Thank you for pointing that out, and changed!

I tried various ways to change this pattern, because I noticed the ugly overlap too. One notable one is making 01:20:370 (2,3,4,5) - a square flow, but it will look very awkward. No change for now, but I would need suggestions to fix it in the future.
  5. 01:54:381 (1) - could NC this if you want for a bit better readability for the change in direction for this pattern Readability wise, I get your point, however suddenly shifting to NC in the middle of 2 crotchet beats would seem very weird and inconsistent. I'd prefer keeping the NCs consistent for now. No fix.

The repeated usage of kicksliders is to emphasise the effect of switching the combo colors from the 'black and white' theme back to color again. It is consistently only mapped to drums, and is red until 02:17:230 (1) - because they are all in the same bar.
  8. 02:39:033 (3,4) - not going to make these clickable? The sound is really tempting to click on Well I wanted to now that I think of it, but I kinda stuck at how I can go about doing it. Oh well, I'll try to think about it - which will probably take me a few days - but for now I'll keep it.

  2. 02:16:184 (2) - suggest to make it into a 1/2 slider or ctrl+g 02:16:533 (1,2) - since the pattern is rather hard to catch here tbh
  3. 03:25:428 (4,1) - flow here is kind of abrupt and disrupted. maybe flip vertically the stream afterwards to make a V- like shape flow instead
  4. 03:26:300 (1) - if my guess i s correct then the early start is influenced by vocals? it's rather unnecessary imo since you followed the percussion for the streams. and the clicking is kinda disturbed with the early reverses. maybe start your slider at 03:26:474 - and map two more circles b4?
  5. 03:27:172 (1) - why not put it in the centre of the grid template
  6. 04:02:143 (1,1) - to me it is really sudden for the slider and the clicking isn't on the downbeats if you consider the bpm to be halved. either start the slider at 04:04:149 - and removin g the reverse, or end the spinner at 04:02:754 - and add a circle at 04:03:451 - both may do the trick well. i suggest the former though idk i can be dumb sometimes tbh
  7. 05:10:428 (1) - 05:14:322 (3) - separating into two circles might give a better sense while clicking
that's it. nice map. sb is quite large though. + should use a darker background instead since the current one is too light to fit the song

First is playability wise: since the BPM has changed, any triplets can easily affect the accuracy, and players may hit 100s or even 50s by accident. Next is the mood of the song. It is very 'calm' and 'depressing' and the same time, and I want to avoid use of any circles here.

Regarding Combo Colours, there is a specific structure I'm following and if your suggestions conflict with my structure I will not change it. Also for the Colours, I will probably change the Kiai's combo Colours to better fit the BG.
