Example: You turn on the mod, and start playing a map. You miss or whatever in the middle, and you can't get enough points to exceed your best score even if you do a perfect FC for the rest of the map. The mod will then detect that, and it will restart the beatmap.
This could be useful for people who are trying to get a better score but they don't have as much free time, or those who just don't want to play an entire map to find out they didn't beat their best. I think this should only be a mod, because sometimes people play for fun, while not worrying about getting a better score.
