Welcome to Relay Wars! A new osu!standard tournament that we had an idea for and decided to bring it to life.

Join our Discord! We HIGHLY recommend all of the players to join discord so we can set every team up and you can never miss a match. You can also talk to other teams in the discord and maybe even find a team if you're looking for one.

Relay Wars is basically a different take on team management and strategy. As a team you will begin tagging your players in and out of the matches based on the maps picked and your player's strengths and weaknesses! Please read the rules below to understand what is allowed:

WE ONLY NEED MORE REFEREES AND MAYBE MAPPOOL SELECTORS BUT THOSE WILL COME LATER.

Rules
- Two maps is the maximum any one player is allowed to play per set!
- A minimum of 3 players in a team is allowed. The maximum is 5.
- TRY to show up and check in with [ Scarlet Red ], Soul_Asylum_, or -Jordan- 15 minutes before your match. (This can simply be confirming you're playing with an osu! PM)
- Just have fun with it! Since it is a non-prizepool tournament, there is nothing to lose. You can also use this tournament as an indicator on whether or not you'd actually want to do this for competition. Simply have fun!


Information
- Best of 5 (Group Stage)
- Each match is done 1v1 (if that wasn't clear). Even the warmup.
- Score v1
- Group Stage then Double Elimination
- 1 Warmup per team
- 2 Bans per team
- With each round of the tournament the maps will get increasingly more difficult.

24 teams is the maximum limit people!

Map Pool releases the day of live drawings.

Change of plans. We probably wouldn't do prizes since it could cost a fair bit of money and I, at least, host tournaments for fun. Maybe we might do some non-money costly prizes that would be interesting but nothing more.

I don't think that rank range would work unless you have mappool and rules that works around it

1k~50k is still too wide of a pool though IMO
since 1k and 5k are playing totally different stuffs, 5k and 10k are playing totally different stuffs, as well as 10k and 20k
15k~20k is pretty similar though
I'm not really sure but 10k~50k would probably work

I remember OCT had a 5k - 50k pool or something. Which isn't far off from this. It's also not prizepool related so I think this would be fine for now. If we did offer a prizepool then ofc I'd make it fair. On top of it I've seen 30ks and 40ks play harder stuff than some 5ks. Rank means little to nothing to some people and it really comes down to skill. I'm only using it as a reference.

Oh my goodness, I apologize everyone! I had no idea this would get as many entries as it has currently. It is still going on! 3 full teams have registered and many single people are in need of teams. 1 player is allowed to play up to two maps but no more. If you think about it the minimum starts at 0 and goes to 2. So you could have 5 members but looking at it know 3 looks like a go to. We just listed 5 members due to time issues and if people on a team couldn't make it. With 5 members though and it being a best of 5 starting off only a total of 2 - 3 members can play.

As of now you need to find your friends and get a team. The solo players queue is over (I already put them in teams).

Hey, apologies but we said that 24 teams was the max amount and that the last two slots were held for DuckNess and Creamy. If you guys wouldn't mind fulfilling staff roles though that'd be amazing.
