im using w/d right now bc a friend who plays fps (first person shooter games) with me told me to use itand now that im used to it, i was thinking about switching to z/x because i feel like i cant do anything higher than ar8 with w/d no matter how much i practice.

There's no link between AR and your keys of choice.
It's a matter of your posture, your preference whether you have a tenkeyless keyboard or not etc. etc.
If you think that switching could benefit you then try it for a week and then evaluate whether you want to stick with it or not.

You need a stronger mindset. I use a/s, and it's literally no different from when I used z/x.darrensaysyo wrote:

Okay so, which keys you use isn't going to affect what AR you can play at at all. It will affect your streaming ability and ability to play at higher BPMs but that's just about it (depending on how often you single vs doubletap it could also affect the rest of your play)
