Insaneit's fine to me: NCing twice would look weird and not NCing 00:39:221 (1) - at all would look even weirder, so it really cant be NC'd any other way

majority says isn't fine, because the slider patch is almost hidden completely, I had a few people to test the map (people supposed to play this lvl of difficulty) and most of them missread the overlaps. I'll be honest, probably you can find someone who agree with this, but I personally don't, since I firmely believe that those overlaps hurts the readability alot. this is the introduction of the gimmick that is used throughout the entire map: if the player does not understand on sightread they will literally retry the map and go OH that's how it works! then they will be set to play the rest of the map because the same gimmick is used throughout the whole thing, the map is BASED around the gimmick and changing it at the start especially would make it unfair when it is used later
I can agree with something like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7997539- 00:28:675 (1,1) - the sv changes are also really tricky to read, maybe do some kind of color hack or change the slider shape of them? the main problem is that the slow sliders looks visually the same as the fast ones. if you notice that the notes are NC'd differently, this is the "colour hax" that you are suggesting to make this readable, having them be in the exact same place with the exact same shape is what gives these notes their special emphasis that goes with the song's repeated theme, and it's perfectly readable
- 00:39:709 (3) - okay the other problem is the rhythm, I don't get what are you trying to follow 00:39:709 (3) - 00:44:689 (3) - etc, they aren't follow the vocals or the more prominent sounds, but ignoring them, idk if you do that for the sake of the patterns, but it doesn't work rhythmically talking, there are more btw this was the rhythm i was trying to follow
- 00:23:012 (1,2) - what happen with the spacing? the sound at 2 is the same as other parts where the spacing was bigger, for example 00:24:184 (2) - etc. compare the spacing of this object to the spacing of 00:16:763 (1,2) - and 00:19:887 (1,2) - , 00:19:887 (1,2) - literally is the same spacing because it's copy pasted in a square..... the spacing is lower for more emphasis on the flow, how it flows through without the repeat, it's a good feeling and it gives more than enough emphasis after the repeated jumps, if i buffed the spacing it would feel awkward and unnatural for the player
- 00:39:221 (1,2) - the NC should be at 2, I understand the vocal thing, but starting the kiai without a NC is weird. 01:41:714 (1,2) - Same

Edit: I didn't notice that you edited your post, my problem with the rhythms are: 1 you're ignoring obvious strong sounds and mapping to tiny sounds at the blue ticks. 2 you're ignoring the vocals, what you hear starting previous the white tick is just her breath.Kaifin wrote:

00:08:170 (1,2,3,4) - this ones are fine, since they aren't stacked directly on each other, but 00:01:921 (1,2,3,4) - are not, I'm judging by the spread of the map and the readability of it, not by the sr.
what is your suggestion for a fixed rhythm that follows the vocals? the vocal clearly does not begin on the white tick if you listen on 25% so either the timing is off (which i doubt it is) or it's snapped to the 1/8th tick. i can't abandon following the vocals because i'm following them the whole kiai, and i think that snapping it to the blue tick isn't even additive mapping or an overmap or ignoring the rhythm of the song, it's expressing the song in an easier to play and understand way I'll make a detailed points
as for the diff name, that's not a big deal to change lol it's just a pun

I have the feel it fills up some void in the rhythm, and perhaps some kind of placement like this : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8886774 could introduce to the variation with reverse arrow, and it seems to add emphasis over this vibration part, right before a kiai time so an important part of the song, where the rhythm fondamentally changes. Even more, the previous beating-in-echo circle is now a reverse arrow on weak sound, which is exactly in the consistency of 01:34:097 (1,2) -
