Post anything about your visual novel (galge, eroge, otome) interests here~

I think the osu community has a decent amount of VN players, but I was wondering as to why there's no VN thread so I just decided to start one. Sorry if I might be necroing but wasn't able to find an existing VN thread.

So, to start it off I'll post first about my own VN gaming experience.

I've been playing visual novels for nearly 2 years, started being interested with it when I watched the anime adaptation of the VN Shuffle!

Currently playing Utawarerumono, which I can't seem to finish because of osu! x3

my personal favorites are

read f/sn, chaos;head, tsuikihime, kagetsu tohya, umineko and higurashi OH AND CLANNAD

vn are okay

i ported a few to the iphone aswell

Been 2 years since I read VN's, pretty fun since its the stuff that I play most really.

Personal Fav:
-Narcissu and Narcissu 2nd
-Sharin no Kuni
-Seiken no Inganock

Well read a lot of em so I'm just too lazy to list them and Sumaga is still stuck at 79% translation or so....lol

Man i should play more of these.. galaxy angel just got translated(well noticed it yesterday) so gotta start with that. also thinking of putting some on my psp cause i think handheld is where these games are best.

Just finished G-Senjou no Maou.
It's pretty kickass.

Pretty hyped about New Vestroia and Shock Cocoon, and I guess Katawa Shoujo too.

Ace Attorney, yes. Time Hollow I also played. Does Sakura Wars 5 count? It's mostly a visual novel of sorts except for the 8 or so battles.

I mainly prefer actual novels, though, so yeah.

ever17 is a good visual novel to start with, not too short and not too long either.


Haven't played the ace attorney series yet, heard it was good.
Just finished G-senjou no maou earlier this month too, would give it 8/10

was thinking of playing higurashi too.

I started maybe a few months ago on a few VN's and generally play them on and off slowly.

The first one I ever played was Utawarerumono (hard mode was pretty fun XD) and I'm now gradually working on Clannad.

The only other one I've played so far is Katawa Shoujo.
