Been 2 years since I read VN's, pretty fun since its the stuff that I play most really.

Just finished G-Senjou no Maou.
It's pretty kickass.

Ace Attorney, yes. Time Hollow I also played. Does Sakura Wars 5 count? It's mostly a visual novel of sorts except for the 8 or so battles.
I mainly prefer actual novels, though, so yeah.

Haven't played the ace attorney series yet, heard it was good.

I haven't played a VN in 1 year.
I started maybe a few months ago on a few VN's and generally play them on and off slowly.
The first one I ever played was Utawarerumono (hard mode was pretty fun XD) and I'm now gradually working on Clannad.
The only other one I've played so far is Katawa Shoujo.

I'm actually pretty new to Visual Novels.
I've been playing Tsukihime and trying to get Fate/Stay to work---though I suppose I should try to get it on my own rather than rely on my friend to jump it from his computer to mine. (He has a tendancy of going 'Hey you gotta try this shit here!' which is actually why I'm into most of the out of country fandoms that I'm into.)
I've been interested in Umeneko and Higurashi after watching the anime.
After having read the Tsukihime VN, and watching the anime I wanna see how much better the VN is for Umeneko/Higurashi is. xD;
I've been playing Tsukihime and trying to get Fate/Stay to work---though I suppose I should try to get it on my own rather than rely on my friend to jump it from his computer to mine. This, really. It's slow-paced and deliberate, setting up a sense of tension while remaining calm the entire time, and using that lull to actually develop its characters and the politics of the Ushiromiya family.NoHItter wrote:

Leaving this in the Otaku board because VNs don't seem like they fit in the video game section anyway (they're primarily reading material, right? Visual Novels?)

I started reading ever17 like half a year ago and I've only finished tsugumi's ending so far

Well, my first vn was Ever17 back in the 2006, I think, and I actually bought that game. It had a crappy software-translated Russian version and a decent English version, that was probably the point when I decided to switch to English releases of everything anime-related.
