General:
  1. You don’t have to have “anime” in the tags since it will already be in the genre. Also it’s not needed to have the “re:” two times in the tags.

Return by Death:
  1. The OD is quite high. Maybe lower it a bit?
  2. 00:11:517 (1,6) –Stacking here would be cool.
  3. 00:23:991 (4,6) –Nazi, but you can try stacking here as well. Just move this pattern: 00:24:622 (2,3,4,5) – a bit downwards so you can stack and still keep the spacing.
  4. 00:31:727 –This sounds rather important, so I suggest trying to map it out. Placing a circle here would be alright.
  5. 00:32:676 (6,2) –You can avoid this overlap by rearranging the pattern like this:

  6. 00:36:780 (1,2,6) –You can try stacking somewhere here or you can rearrange (5) and (6) so that it looks neater:

  11. Why do you have breaks in this diff? But not in your hardest diff?
  12. 00:39:306 (1) –Place this circle like you placed this one: 00:38:833 (3) – Just for consistency with the placements.
  13. 00:45:938 (2) –Add a NC here to support that strong vocal?
  14. 00:47:359 (4,7) –Perfect this stack. It’ll look neater.
  15. 01:02:833 (7) –This circle looks a bit out of the stream. This will look better imo:

  2. 00:52:017 –You can add a circle here to form a triple because there’s a beat on the blue tick.
  3. 00:58:570 –This vocal sounds quite important so I suggest placing a circle here or actually a long slider will also fit nicely.
  4. 01:28:570 (1) –Change this into a long slider to catch that rhythm in the background. The slider then ends here: 01:29:043 –

Sharkie’s Advanced:
  1. The AR looks a bit too high. Maybe lower it to 6.
  2. 00:26:675 (4,5) –Make this more parallel by lifting the tail of 00:27:464 (5) – a bit.

Regraz’s Normal:
  1. I suggest lowering the AR to 4 because this is the easiest diff.

00:23:517 (3) - could angle that down a bit more and create a 90 degree angle with the sliders. wasnt' going for a 90 here

00:26:359 (5) - maybe anti-jump aesthetic helps bring in the emphasis that's given to (4). (5) 180;160 ish not sure what you mean here

00:41:833 (1,2) - ysee this, that's a 1/2 and then you see this 00:43:096 (1,2) - thats a 1/1 when theyre virtually the same so thats problematic. changed

00:52:885 (6,1) - it's like, extreeeemely hard to tell that this would be 1/4 when you space all your other 1/4s relatively close to each other. like, that distance is way higher than 00:53:201 (1,3) - and this one is at 1/2 so idk what the deal is man. dont overkill for emphasis Its actually not hard to read at the Insane skill level. You see spacing like that in maps a lot at 5*+. Also, you are looking at the distance of (1, 3), you completely missed the (2). The jumps I make are not smaller than the 1/4 spacing I used.

00:55:570 (1) - remove nc and put it here 00:55:727 (3) - alright

00:56:991 (1,3) - keep on meme'ing my dude

00:58:254 (1,2,3) - another spacing dilemma where you have equal spacing on different timings. fix dis again, completely acceptable for this difficulty

01:17:201 (1) - ctrl-g works better imo gonna keep what I have here

  8. 01:10:254 - pretty strong beat here with that cymbal crash, would make it clickable changed
  9. 01:10:806 - I would not skip this blue tick here. if you only want to do one triplet, better to make this a triplet into the downbeat instead of a triplet at 01:10:412 (5,6,7) - where there isn't even a sound on a red tick. Great catch, thank you :)

  12. 01:18:622 (2,3) –This jump looks a bit too much, since this triple 01:18:780 (3,4,5) – is already not that easy and the difficult flow also makes it very challenging, so I suggest making the spacing a bit smaller. Its the highest/hardest diff and I've not had any complaints here, playtester wise.
  13. 01:19:096 (6,7) -^, very difficult stream. Smaller spacing might be better and more comfortable. But the spacing is larger to emphasize the intensity of the drums building.
  14. 01:24:464 (2) –Shouldn’t there be a NC here to show that the SV is much slower now? No, because the NC is on the 1.
  15. 01:27:938 (3) –I would’ve placed a NC here. I don't see a reason to.

Extra:
  1. Perhaps lower the OD just a little bit. Current OD is for a good curve, it was originally at 8.7 but I was asked to buff it slightly to help it out.
  2. What’s with the large circle size? Lol Its one of my mapping fetishes.
  3. 00:00:622 (2) –I highly suggest placing a NC here since there’s a big SV change and this can cause confusion. Talked about this with Yuii-, and this should be one of the cases where its fine to have it like I do now.

  5. 00:14:517 (1) –This NC feels a bit unnecessary to me. You're actually the first to point this out. I may change it depending on responses of others.
  6. 00:20:991 (2) –I suggest making this slider longer to this tick: 00:21:464 – since that’s where the vocal ends. Not a huge fan of changing up rhythmic patterns that I've kept consistent.
  7. 00:22:885 (1,2) –This doesn’t really look that great for the eye. I suggest trying to make a different pattern that looks neater. Not overly concerned with the aesthetics of the map, as it plays quite well like this IMO.
  8. 00:23:517 (2) –Same as 00:20:991 (2) – There may be other places where this happens. Yeah there are, but its an established rhythmic pattern I'm trying to maintain.
  9. 00:25:727 (3,5) –Nazi, avoid this slight overlap. Honestly, theres nothing wrong with it playability wise, its just an editor aesthetic thing that I'd rather not change and risk messing up a good pattern.
  10. 00:29:833 (5) –Since the long vocal actually ends here: 00:30:149 – I suggest shortening the slider to that tick and then adding a circle here: 00:30:306 – Following the rhythmic pattern I established, like I mentioned earlier. However, I'm willing to change this one should others think its necessary.
  11. Why do you have breaks in this diff? But not in your hardest diff? Because this isn't the hardest diff and I believe that this part of the song is so quiet/soft it shouldn't be mapped. On the hardest diff I have it mapped in a way that, while hard, emphasizes its gentle-nature. I never really found anything like that for the CS 3 and ultimately I think it turned out better with two breaks.
  12. 00:39:306 (1) –Place this circle like you placed this one: 00:38:833 (3) – Just for consistency with the placements. What? Why?
  13. 00:45:938 (2) –Add a NC here to support that strong vocal? I don't really think its necessary.
  14. 00:47:359 (4,7) –Perfect this stack. It’ll look neater. It looks fine in game and 00:46:885 (1,2,5,7) - currently form a straight line, as well as 00:47:043 (2,4,6) - forming another straight line.
  15. 01:02:833 (7) –This circle looks a bit out of the stream. This will look better imo: It curves around 01:03:464 (2) - , its meant to look like this.

The maximum variation here is +/- .5 DS which is basically .25 DS, which honestly is barely noticeable (if at all) to me personally.

i recommend getting more gameplay related mods on that diff because flow and spacing stuff can be improved :? I've gotten a lot of playtests as most of my friends on osu are players rather than mappers - a lot of this stuff is just kind of how my personal flow works and I don't see too much of an issue with it.

I don't think that note needs to be emphasized, due to the stronger vocal at 00:22:885 (1) - .

I disagree, I only used weird slider designs to follow guitar riffs. Such as 00:44:991 (1) - here. Although it may seem like I am following the vocal, I am actually following the guitar that is being played. (In addition, to other parts like 00:52:885 (1) - and 01:01:885 (1) - )
Also the two eighth notes I put in, I mapped that because it would feel weird without it. I've tried many different rhythms and I promise you this one is the least awkward.

Updated Return By Death difficulty with fixes to prior complaints and tuned up a few sections that were slightly/somewhat overspaced. Additionally, I changed OD on the top 2 diffs to be a bit more linear with the overall spread and to make certain sections on both diffs more reasonable for their SR. This should be ready now.

Like it may be pretty and playable in editor but the angle game play wise is horrible, but nevermind.

    No, I would prefer not to put a hitsound there because there is not bass drum, cymbal, or snare hit. I would only prefer to hitsound what is there, not to emphasize differences between phrases.
