Finally, hype!
FIXED... I think XDTaikocracy wrote:
made sure to read all of the mods on the kantan and futsuu, but imo the spread still needs to be improved (i wonder if i noticed that when i bubbled it lmao)
00:26:345 (54) - this is one of the few places where i think the futsuu could use some more notes:
granted i see the push for maintaining constant 2/1 breaks, in the kiai imo it is simply not needed. the guidelines (timed in 180) say that they should be inserted after at least 16/1 or 20/1 constant playtime. imo, especially in the kiai for bpm 224, i think the guideline can be changed to 12/1 or 16/1 or if you don't like that, 8/1 or 12/1 of continuous playing. either selection will allow the futsuu to gain some more notes here and spread a little bit better with the muzu. there are constant beats and sounds going on the 1/1 ticks in this section as well, so i don't think this change should be very hard to accomplish.
a more major one imo is at 00:52:059 (115) -
i think the switch from 1/1 in the futsuu to extremely common 1/2 in the muzu doesn't spread very well at all, the densities are completely different and again like the section i mentioned beforehand, there are quite a few different layers of instrumentation to support more notes. the same thing i said about the break guidelines can applied to this section as well, just add some more notes where you feel necessary
the same thing can be said about the following times:
the first picture also has a few inconsistencies with the kantan's emphasis, don't see a need for that in this specific section (that's why i included the kantan as well)
but yes in general i think the futsuu and kantan are way too similar, and in those specific pictures that notes can be added to make the curve from futsuu to muzu just as big as it should be between kantan and futsuu
you can call me back after you consider all of this stuff

ok
Wao i accepted all :OOO TyVolta wrote:
It looks much better than the last time i check it. Here's some follow up mod.
[Kantan]
00:08:666 - maybe change to d to highlight the distinct melody like at 00:03:845 - ?
00:11:077 - and change this to k, to alternate between k-k-k and k-d-k
00:23:131 - there is a totally important strong sound here, you can put K
00:25:541 - and remove this note instead for the break.
00:37:059 - move to 00:37:327 - fits with the melody better imo and consistent with your overall pattern
00:38:131 - you may add k here since the intensity is high in this part.
00:36:791 - and maybe change this to d for variation? fits with the drum too
00:50:452 - i think making this as D would give more impact after all those k before
00:59:827 - consider to add d for the noise? it helps the spread with futsuu as well
01:07:863 - same as ^
01:12:416 - move to 01:11:881 - ? fits melody better and consistent with 01:05:452 -
01:17:506 - move to 01:16:970 - ? i think the break is kinda unnatural (01:13:756 - the break here is enough) and this way follows the melody nicely
01:38:398 - , 01:38:934 - 1/1 triplet is too much for this calm section. remove please :c
01:40:809 - can be removed as well imo
[Futsuu]
00:16:970 - move to 00:17:773 - ? i think this way can fits the melody better and consistent with 01:34:916 -
00:56:747 - remove? i think too much 1/2 in this part is too hard for newer player
00:59:291 - maybe change to d, since the pitch is down here
01:25:541 - consider to add note for consistency with 01:19:113 -
01:40:006 - consider to remove, i think the dk doubles are too consecutive here, refer to 01:33:577 - as well
[Muzukashii]
00:13:086 - change SV multiplier to x0.925 , smoother and easier to read for intermediate player
00:13:354 - remove note or add SV multiplier with x0.975 value.
00:35:720 - maybe remove finisher for consistency with 00:22:863 -
00:36:523 - i think adding k here is nice to highlight the melody
01:34:849 - consider to change to d? i think 1/4 kd at this bpm for a muzukashii is kinda hard.
01:42:148 - changing this to d would accentuate the drum at 01:41:881 (412,414) - better imo
01:48:443 - move to 01:48:979 -
01:49:113 - , 01:49:381 - , 01:49:648 - and remove finishers, for consistency with other diffs
[Oni]
00:12:952 - change SV multiplier to x0.88 for smoother speed-up
00:25:006 - adding d here would make a nice build-up before the kiai imo
00:36:122 - move to 00:36:523 - for consistent structure with 00:37:327 - and give some rest after the finisher
01:03:041 (324,325) - maybe you misplaced the finisher? i think you should remove the finisher at 01:03:041 - , and put one at 01:03:309 - instead like other pattern in this session.
01:13:488 - suggesting to remove finisher here as well so it flows to next sequence better.
[Inner Oni]
01:16:702 - and 01:16:836 - consider to change to d, i think it's nice to be mirrored with 01:16:032 (520,521,522,523) - and can emphasis high pitched melody at 01:16:970 -
01:28:756 - maybe change this to d? it feels more dynamic rather than consecutive k imo
You may call me back after that :3
