[confirmed] Map keeps appearing in osu!direct even after download

Problem Details:

I've downloaded and redownloaded this map about a dozen times now, and it keeps coming up when I search for ranked songs in osu!direct. Has anyone else seen this bug?

It looks just as if I had never downloaded the map. There's no "Go to map" button.

EDIT: I tried deleting the beatmap and redownloading again, and the issue seems to have disappeared. But I wouldn't be surprised if it popped up again after some time. I'll post here again if it does.

It's been a week, but it happened again. Same map set and everything. The popup menu in osu!direct still looks like I never downloaded the map. I checked my song list and it was still there, no prompt for an update either.

Same here. This map always pops up in osu!direct as if I didn't have it if I wait for a little bit.

This happens because the game thinks that the map that you are having problems with is a different and unranked map. For example, Epica - Martyr of the Free Word is recognized as https://osu.ppy.sh/b/944778 for some reason. Since the game thinks that you don't have the ranked map, osu!direct still lists it. This is happening for around 60 maps (loose estimation) in osu!. Epica - Martyr of the Free Word is just the most recent example.

This bug has been confirmed for about a year under this post https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/329236 just with a different name. The first half of the of the posts in the old forum are not really focused on the correct things, but the later posts do get into more what you are having problems with. I think that this post should be marked as duplicate or it should be merged with the older post.

Different issue. The map is recognised correctly as far as I can tell. Both osu!direct and my local copy link to the correct beatmap.

I don't want to come off as someone who knows more about osu! than you, because I don't, but I've had a very long time to think about this issue and I'm completely sure that the issue that riffraff11235 is having is directly caused by the issue that I linked. What I linked is just a more general bug that also includes the bug in this post.

I don't have the time right now to make a video showing why I know that this map, and other maps with this problem, are being recognized incorrectly, but I will before the end of the day.

Edit: Nevermind, it seems that osu! doesn't want to consistently replicate this issue today. As a result, I am unable to create a video that fully covers the topic right now. I will probably be able to make the video tomorrow, but I'm not completely sure. The one thing you can be sure of is that I will make the video as soon as possible.

Edit 2: I am sorry for the continued delay. I assure you that I have not forgot about the video. The glitch just isn't cooperating with me right now. It will be done ASAP.

Never mind, no video should be needed.

The reason why I couldn't make the video in the past week was that Epica - Martyr of the Free Word was not wrongfully appearing in osu!direct anymore, so it was hard to replicate this issue in a simple way. At first, I was confused as to why Epica - Martyr of the Free Word was not having this issue anymore, but then I realized that the map that it was wrongfully being recognized as has been coincidentally deleted in the past seven days (https://osu.ppy.sh/b/944778). I believe that this event is proof about my point that the issue in this forum post is the same as the issue in https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/329236.

If anyone believes that this is just luck (which it understandable), I will be happy to make a video connecting the two problems using one of the other maps that has this recognition problem.
