I didn't find anything so I'd like to have a grouping option that just moves notes to 4 spots on the screen depending on if it's a D, a d or a K or a k.

So an automatic grouping according to hitsounding.

why?

makes modding a bit easier and allows you to simply reorganise your stuff neatly when you remap something / put some new notes somewhere / etc.

Some mappers do this manually already but i think doing it automatically via some kind of tool / editor feature would be cool for certain people such as lazy bums like me. If this isn't worth implementing i'll just take a bit of my time and write an external thing to do this for me after figuring out which hitsounding numbers determine what elements and then just moving everything that will result in the same element to the same spot

That would be kinda cool.
You could combine it with some sort of background interface as used in LordRaika's Hitsound Guide for the cool looks.

I am one of those mappers doing it manually, above all for hitsounding on standard. (don't ask why lol)
