Hello! Guess who's here?

Raising another concern here regarding a certain pattern usage.

This may not have reading issues considering the way how the rhythm and the pattern are formed, but the object placement isn't reflecting properly the rhythm changes, and feels it damaged the quality. I might make a discussion regarding this patterns, but I'd like you to show your opinion too.
This kind of spacing usage results in a difficulty to initially indicate the accurate rhythm of the pattern. Maybe those are basically kick sliders which the ending points are not that important, making fine in playability, but in terms of quality, it was personally questionable to throw players patterns of ambiguous rhythm with intuition.
  1. 01:56:030 (1,2,1) -
  2. 01:59:458 (1,2,1) -
  3. 02:00:744 (1,1,1) -
  4. etc
  5. and the list goes on.
What do you guys think about this pattern? Should it be fine since it isn't that bad in readability, and is able to play through enough? Or should this pattern need an adjustment to assure players having an idea about exactly what rhythm they are hitting for?

Predictability is usually a good idea when the song itself is trying to be predictable. I can't say that for certain with this track though.

The spacing and rhythm of 01:53:887 (1,1) - play straightforward enough for me. I think regardless of the rhythm being 3/8 and 1/4, the clicking rhythm is still 1/2. I think in both cases, when players play the sliders, they won't be concerned with when they release their hold on the slider. The 3/8 slider is a bit dangerous in that regard, because if you release immediately you can risk combobreaking, but I think in general the way the pattern is set up, you won't really be concerned with the slider-end related rhythm, they'll all feel like 1/2 gaps in between.

That said though, I don't see a need to extend it to 3/8 since there's a release sound on the blue tick at 01:53:994 -. I can understand that the mapper might extend to 3/8 in order to map the entirety of the sound, but that seems like an unnecessary extension to me since both 3/8 and 1/4 work just as well. I would go with 1/4 just because its a lot more workable. Increasing the SV and reducing the snapping from 3/8 to 1/4 is another option if the mapper wants to keep the design for some reason. The snapping change just makes it easier for players to play through the rhythm without experiencing unexpected slider-breaks.

Mappers nowadays seems to don't care about spacing anymore, but personally i think the pattern can be a bit confused also the spacing seems randomly done, I'd suggest to increase the spacing between 01:54:101 (1) - and 01:54:315 (1) -

In general I think the map need alot more work with the spacing, even if people don't mind slider ends that much, a basic spacing concept should apply, this 02:00:744 (1,1,1) - is the one that more worry me, isn't even consistent with the other ones, talking about spacing, map is poor build imo and a respacing is needed at some sections, 01:59:458 (1,2,1) - this works alot better, spacing should be an important thing to judge especially in patterns like this one where the player have to guess what to do.

So I've decided to halt this set for further progression since I'm still concerned for the structures.
Closing the case here.
