Ruleset and moreThe Setup
|Because I figure that matches with 16 people will last too long, the maximum player count is 10 for each match.
|The rank range for a match will be set in a separate post, each event will have its own post.
|Each match's mappool will be selected by me. It will suit the allowed rank range.
The actual Game
|9 Players will compete against The Chaser, a randomly selected player out of the 10. The Chaser is the only person allowed to pick a map from the pool.
|When a match starts, the Chaser has to grant the other players a head start that will be determined before the match. It is defined by the factor ' Length of Beatmap / 10 '. After this headstart, the Chaser is allowed to start playing, while the players have already started.
|The Chaser now gets the chance to overtake the other players in score. If they can reach a higher score than at least one of the players, said players are eliminated from the match. The Chaser/Referee now earns the right to remove the inferior players from the match.
|This will be repeated until only one player is left. This person is the winner of the match. Therefore the Chaser cannot win, unless they can eliminate all players before there is only one of them left (i.e. from 2 players left immediately to 0 players). The winner of the match will earn one std!point (name patent pending).
|Points have two functions: They function as a win condition for the entire event (depending on e.g. how many participants we have) and they function as a currency! That's right, there is a potencial prize you can win by checking in points! I plan to have the following bounties:
Prizes
|40 Pts. = 1 Month of osu!supporter
|80 Pts. = 3 Months of osu!supporter
|More to come!

Please note that this game is still a concept. I will change the ruleset from time to time, because there will be more and more things to be changed that can only be found by playing the game. New rules will be announced in a specific post and will be included in this main post. I will configure the mappool in the upcoming days. If you are interested to join, please post after I open the registration.
