Add Osu! a mouse control option!

Add to Osu! mouse control to options, because i play with mouse and it has mouse 4-5 on the sides and i allways accidently press the mouse 5 and it goes back and i press accidently reset or go back. i would like to put it off when i play, so if u can do it i would be very happy.

(Edit: i allways accidently press the mouse 4* and it goes back)

From my understanding of what you wrote, your problem is that you press the side button of your mouse and go back to the main menu or stuff?

well just change the button to something else or disable that button completely, you dont need something in osu to fix your problem.

But i dont find an option for it to be disabled and i cant shut all mouse buttons, because then i cant play with mouse only and only option i find in osu! options is keyboard controls, but it dosent help anything, because i play with mouse only.

Don't search for osu!settings to fix your problem, go to your mouse driver and change it to something else or select "no function" or "disable"

Well this was just request that they would add mouse control system in the options, when there are allready keyboard control. It would make it easier to just chance the mouse controls from osu!, because it is the only game that i have this problem so far. What about when someone else would want to play with mouse buttons and would like to make the options what is the best for him/her, but he/she cant, because there is no options for it? Mouse options would be good for the osu players that uses mouse only, because iam not the only one that uses mouse. ;)

well mouse options very likely won't be added since there is no need for them since you can do this stuff through your mouse drivers if you do have external buttons. and we do have sensitivy settings for mouse.
and i do know you're not the only one that uses a mouse, no need to point that out
also click with your keyboard it's better.

If u mean my post that u didnt undestand then i tell u, i would like to have mouse control option in osu! so i could chance my mouse 4 button to something else or dicable it so it would not go back allways when i press it accidently and move my mouse to the restart or back to menu button as reflecs and press it. There is option that dicables all mouse buttons, but i cant to that, because i play with mouse only.

translation: he has a mouse that has macro keys on it. if you press those keys (on the side e.g.) it will automatically pause the game. sometimes you might press 'back to menu' by mistake/reflex and thus cancel a map that you could've potentially made. this happened to me as well so i can relate to that a bit. as jukke wrote, you can usually disable those macro keys in your mouse driver options. but in my case for example i have a 'zowie fk1'. many other osu players have the same mouse (it's not thaaat common but still a bit known, also among top players like uh.... i think amai hachimitsu). It is plug and play and therefore has no actual driver. i think you could still change it somehow and it was written on the packaging, but i threw that away right as i got it :cry:
Also if you have a mouse with macros you might want to actually use those macros on other games and be able to just disable it in osu but still have them available in every other game to make it less annoying to always switch it around.
I actually think it's a pretty good idea and just lacks the english skills to get the message around :x i support that one.

you can also download mouse drivers from the internet you dont need defualt drivers.
go for someting like x-mouse button control or something (i use that for my mouse instead of the default drivers i got).
you can actually set up profiles for the macros on x-mouse button control so when you change a game and need to use mb4 and mb5 you can very swiftly change the macro set.

EDIT: forgot to mention that because of this we dont need osu settings for mouse buttons

as i said, this is not needed, and so it will not be implemented. it doesn't profit peppy, it doesnt make the game better since you can do it anyway so there's no chances of this happening

Yeah I play with a DeathAdder and the osu!tablet but when I use the mouse, it has buttons on the sides and one of them restart or pause the map. Please fix this thanks. <3
