As the title states, I am just looking for some maps where I can practice LN. I'm sure threads like this already exist but I couldn't find any through a quick google search. I consider myself a competent 7k player but my LN skills are severly lacking and I can't really find too many decent maps to practice on. Also another stupid question, but is there any way to download the o2jam client because I couldn't find a download link that looked legitimate anywhere.

o2jam is not officially running any more. You need to find a private server and download the client from them (clients for private servers often have been hacked to work with their server and often have custom graphics hacked into the client as well.)
As for LN practice, there are a few mappers who make LN heavy maps:
https://osu.ppy.sh/u/Yooh (has a lot of converted o2jam charts uploaded. has deleted a bunch of good LN practice charts. if you want deleted ones, ask me ingame and i can find some)
https://osu.ppy.sh/u/2786984 (most of his LN charts are very hard, and may be offtime)
https://osu.ppy.sh/u/entozer (most of his LN heavy charts are o2 style and very hard)
https://osu.ppy.sh/u/2345293 (makes EXTREMELY hard o2jam style charts)
https://osu.ppy.sh/u/1750531 (also makes quite hard o2 style LN charts)
There are probably others I don't know too.
Another option would be to download o2jam converts, since there are a LOT of them out there and they cover a wide range from a bit difficult to EXTREMELY difficult. There's a thread that has links to all sorts of convert locations.

Sorry for the late reply. I appreciate the fast response. I have been playing some of you're converts to varying degrees of success. Some of the maps are perfectly playable, but some of them seem to be offtime, or atleast feel as though they are offtime. I'm not sure if this is just a problem I am having trying to adjust to the timings of a different game or if this is a problem with the maps themselves. I also have had 2 maps just crash the game as soon as I tried to play them, granted I had some errors with the file transfer so I assume that was just an effect of that.
Also what o2jam private server would you recommend that preferably is semi-popular and is close to vanilla

I honestly dont really know many o2 servers. Maybe o2v3 is what you're looking for, but I don't have a link for them.
As for my converts, many of them are indeed offtime. Because the o2jam chart editor tools were not meant to be used for making charts to existing songs, it's extremely difficult to time things right in o2jam, so many of the unofficial charts are offtime. I didn't fix it because sometimes fixing timing in osu's editor can be a gigantic pain in the ass, and I had to manually convert every chart, which took several hours of "press the convert button, wait for conversion to finish, select next song, repeat". Occasionally I also had to manually extract the background and add it to the osz. (not to mention the 42 hours I spent uploading everything to mediafire). I just gave up on fixing any problems with them.
One thing to note about o2jam is that it has very large timing windows compared to osu!mania, so practicing there will not be really helpful for improving accuracy at all. On the other hand, missing on LNs is extremely punishing, and there's no way to re-press them if you accidentally release the LN too soon, which teaches you to avoid mistakes on LNs.

personally, i train using skalim convert from bobbias thread most LN map start from 40 (there is lower level, but quite rare)
sometimes i tend to convert o2 song by myself too (but i'm not too sure if i really can post about the link + old thread)
