00:45:870 (1,2,3) - Not sure if you map the chorus or the instrumental there but if it's chorus it would be better to set a slider velocity of 0,50x on those sliders and then remove the note 00:47:013 (4)

00:48:155 - The kiai mode starts here and not there 00:56:013 and finish where you ended it there 01:06:441

01:05:655 (8,9,10,11,12,13) - That curve in this stream looks a bit weird. Maybe you can move this to make a straight line stream in the direction of 01:06:155 (1)

01:33:298 (1,2) - I think you should add two notes between that transition instrumental/chorus. Will be easier to follow and don't break the intensity of the map

01:43:013 (1,2,3) - Same as I mentioned earlier, you should set a slider velocity of 0,50x and remove this note 01:44:155 (4)

01:57:584 (7,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - This part is a bit overmapped, you should fix this

02:18:941 (2,3) - Remove those notes, they are overmapped. I don't hear anything there

02:43:155 (8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16) - This stream is clearly overmapped but keep it if you really want it in this part

02:57:655 (7,8,9,10,11,12) - That curve in this stream looks weird and this is a bit too spaced. It's very hard to hit those notes you should change it

03:04:155 (6,7,8,9,10,11) - Weird curve again on this stream, maybe you should make a straight line stream right to the direction of 03:04:584 (12)

Miscellanous:
- A lot of objects are not snapped to the timeline. Check the AImod and fix this (Ctrl+Shift+a)

- 00:36:727 : Timing points confusion (there is two timing points set at the same point)


Nice map, jumps are enjoyable to hit. Some parts are overmapped but the map still great and impressive for a "first attempt" :)

Well, there is a small space between stream and that slider (they belong to different sounds), so I am not sure, curve wasn't nescessary, sure with that.

offset is wrong, I'm not a timing expert, but it should be around 159 since the downbeat lands on 00:09:298 (1) - . Don't change until you go through rest of mod though.

  1. You probably should have asked for my beginner queue since this is your first map lol
  2. 00:09:012 (1) - delete this note, it's better to start on the downbeat.
  3. Spacing:

    Proper spacing is very important in maps. For lower diffs, consistent spacing helps newer players develop a relationship between time and distance between notes. See this for a longer explanation. For normal and easy diffs, it is highly recommended (almost an ironclad rule nowadays) that you keep distance snapping (DS) on for the entire map for the reason stated above.

    Example: 00:09:012 (1,2,3) - uses 1.4 DS, 00:09:584 (3,4,5) - uses 1.6 DS, and 00:10:727 (5,6) - uses 0.9 DS. Just pick one and stick with it for the entire song. I think anywhere from DS 1.1 - 1.4 would be a good choice
  4. 00:10:726 (5,6) - avoid overlaps like these, they don't look good. if you follow the spacing advice above, these will naturally go away
  5. 00:18:013 (6,7,8,9) - I would nerf this a little, 210 bpm continuous 1/2 notes are too difficult for normal players
  6. Be consistent with hitsounds. No reason why 00:27:869 (2) - this section has normal hitsounds while the other sections have soft hitsounds
  7. 00:36:727 (5) - these only require 3 control points to make a nice slider with the new algorithm http://puu.sh/nvQh6/50ee6d9c8f.jpg same with places like 01:33:870 (1) - 01:36:155 (1) -
  8. Rhythm:
    1. Downbeats (big white ticks) are typically important beats in the song and should have a clickable object to represent them, especially if a strong sound from the music falls on this beat. Along those lines, if you have no idea when to add new combos (NCs), a simple way is to add a NC every downbeat or every 2 downbeats.
      Examples: For you, it's a little messed up because your offset is incorrect, but once you fix that, hopefully you'll notice that places like 00:50:441 - 00:51:584 - 00:55:013 - 01:22:441 - etc....should be clickable
    2. If you're following the drums/vocal/instrument in your song, don't just suddenly switch to mapping a different part of the song unless you have a strong reason to. Otherwise, you will confuse new players.
      Examples:
  9. 01:06:155 (7) - change to a note, don't use 1/4 rhythms in normal
  10. 01:25:013 - make this clickable, it's a better transition to get back to 1/1 rhythm http://puu.sh/nvQGN/2a3ec8135d.jpg
  11. 01:36:155 (1,2) - avoid overlaps

  13. 02:28:584 (7) - this should also start on a white tick
    Sorry, but I think you'll have to remap large parts of this diff. The spacing concern is an especially important issue to fix if you're aiming for rank.

  1. 00:09:584 - map this part out since you did it in normal. Break times should be consistent across all difs if possible
  2. For harder diffs, spacing is a key component in dictating how intense certain notes feel. In general, notes that land on strong beats (remember downbeats?) should have a larger spacing from the previous note so that it feels more emphasized and matches with intensity of the music
    Examples: 00:34:441 (3) - 01:01:870 - (should be clickable) 01:03:013 (4) - 01:27:013 (2) - 01:46:441 - (should be clickable) etc...
  3. 00:36:727 (1) - you should learn to make sliders like this http://puu.sh/nvRoP/fe16e382ff.jpg it will help give you a lot more control over slidershape in the future
  4. 00:52:584 (3,4,5) - avoid linear flows like these, they don't play very well imo
I didn't give out too many specific points because I think some general improvements regarding spacing and rhythm should be done first. Good luck and let me know if you have questions!
