In the spirit of Movember, I thought I'd try to do something charitable with my facial hair this holiday season, but I need the help of those who can appreciate a legendary beard: the residents of osu!.
In short: I will be shaving my beard clean on Christmas Day if the amount of money raised for charity exceeds $200 (USD or CAD I don't really care). I'll take pictures, hell, I'll even record the shaving ritual if need be.
The charity: I've got my eyes on a local food bank, but if anyone else wants to nominate/donate to another preferred charity I'm open to the idea.
How it works: If you live in the Canada/US region and have a credit card, you can donate electronically to the charity at the link listed above, and then forward me via email your receipt. If you don't live in the region, don't have a credit card, or just don't want to use your Canadian/American credit card, you can send money to my Paypal account instead, and I will transfer those funds to the charity and cover any and all of Paypal's transaction fees myself.
I encourage everyone who is interested in helping a good cause (for a silly reason, no less) to contact me via PM with your preferred payment method and donation amount. And if there's a better way to manage this, just post or something. I'm open to suggestions.
Even if this doesn't go anywhere, I figure it's worth a shot.
