In the past, to swap samplesets we needed a full timing section. That sucked, and now we have a really neat ability to individually modify each part of an object to select the hitnormal sampleset and any additional sets.
While mapping earlier today, I encountered a situation where I couldn't continue hitsounding because I needed to combine drum additionals with soft additionals (and normal, later on). To accurately maintain my hitsounding i'd need to spoof it by adding other samplesets as drum-hitfinish or some other combination. Since I love to fiddle around with default hitsounding, this can get pretty hectic.
So this is just a feature request to take it one step further: to be able to use any and all combinations of custom samplesets including ones of the same (e.g. drum whistle and soft whistle). This'd almost certainly need an entirely new UI hook so it is probably hard to do but well, that's what feature requests are for.
