Goal
Reach a total of 48 hours of necrotime by necroposting. When this goal is met by any player, the game ends.

By default, all posts in this thread are necroposts. If the poster explicitly states in boldface the post is not to be counted as a necropost, it is not considered to be a necropost. That post must not have been edited and must never be edited; otherwise, that player is punished (see rules).

Each necropost is given a necrotime when the necropost is made. The necrotime is the time between that necropost and the previous necropost, if any (defaulting to zero). Necrotimes are rounded to the nearest minute for convenience.

Each player accumulates necrotime which is the sum of the necrotimes of all of their posts in the thread. There may be exceptions; see the rules to details.

Rules
There are two rule types: forgivable and punishable. Breaking a forgivable rule means your post doesn't count. Breaking a punishable rule deducts the time your post would have received from your total, and your post doesn't count.

1. No posting more than twice on the same fifteen-post page. Forgivable.
2. No posting twice in a row, even on different pages. Forgivable.
3. No deleting posts. Punishable.

One-shot achievements
One-shot achievements can only be achieved by one player per game.

1. Early bird - Be the first to reach 12:00 total.
2. Over-achiever - Be the first to earn all five general achievements.

General achievements
General achievements can be achieved by any player playing the game.

1. Necromancer - Reach an average post time of 01:15 with over five posts total.
2. Dedicated - Reach an average of 1.8 effective posts per page over ten pages.
3. Necrophiliac - Gain four hours in one page.
4. Ninja - Ninja post another player. (They must have less than a minute for their post.)
5. Elitist - Hold 13:37 total for three pages.

BTW, I really don't understand the do-not-edit rule. If editing your post bumped it's post time, that would clearly be cheating. However, editing a post it still shows the exact original time you made that post. So I fail to see how editing your post gives any sort of unfair advantage.

If the player wishes to exclude their post from being counted as a necropost, they must not edit or have edited the post. This is to prevent players from editing out their exclusion (attempting to gain necrotime) or in their exclusion (attempting to support the necropost after theirs). There is no other reason not to edit a post; I included the condition as a fairness measure.
