Just like you can hide scoreboard during "drain time" (when not in break time), I'd like to see an option to let you disable everything else too.
Meaning score, accuracy % and current combo (progress bar shall stay)

Why?
Because drain time is not the appropriate time to look at them. I have lost several high scores and S ranks because I start to look at them during drain time. I can totally see that some people won't see this as an issue. I'm afraid that this might be something that only people with bad concentration (like me) will understand. Also, seeing how good your doing can make you nervous and cause you to fail (during breaks you have at least a little bit of time to calm down again).

Can't you hide them by re-skinning them?
Yes you can, but that doesn't make them visible during breaks, which is the time you'd actually want/have time to look at them. Also, as far as I know, re-skinning the score numbers also makes some numbers in the result screen disappear, which is not desired.

Have you tried shift+tab? Or is it that you want to be able to selectively disable certain elements while leaving others intact?

Shift+Tab only toggles the scoreboards on the left side of the playfield. There doesn't have to be selection for every single element, but rather have options: "Show all" - All elements are shown
"Show progress bar" - Hides all unnecessary elements except for the progress bar that shows how far you are into the song.
"Hide all" - All unnecessary elements are hidden during drain time (health bar and hit objects etc. will not be affected of course).

Having Shift+Tab to affect the visibility of score, accuracy % and combo displaying like it affects the scoreboard won't be a bad idea either (instead of having a separate settings in options)

The only change needed to be done to the "show all" option is to make the combo display not to disappear during breaks like it does now.

Actually, Shift+Tab disables the interface, health, score, accuracy, progress, everything. You're thinking of just Tab, which disables the scoreboard.

Maybe there is something wrong with my Shift then o.o
But anyway, it's nice that you can already hide the interface, but seeing the progress and health bar would be nice and have things appear when break starts (similar how also the chat has auto-hide option).

The actual binding is shift+*key used for disable scoreboard*
