NOT going for approval anymore, since I realised how my newly discovered mapping style contradicts everything I've made in the first and second verse of the song. I highly appreciate the help the modders gave me with this map, since it has improved my mapping (and modding) capacities a lot more. I hope that you guys will take a look at my newer mapsets as well, since I believe that they are a lot better than this :3

Really cool, fun to play diff. Just few issues that makes the gameplay worse.

00:02:211 (1) - I feel like the song shouldn't start with a repeater.
00:09:976 (5) - This one could be a jump instead of a repeater imo.
00:12:623 (4,5,6) - Too spaced since it's only few seconds of gameplay, you should stack it a bit.
00:12:799 (6) - Also, make it a 1/3 repeater that fits to the wobble. It sounds undermapped like this.
00:22:682 (1,2,3,4) - That should be 1/8 repeater.
00:35:505 (1,1,1,1,1,1) - Oh please, 1 NC is enough.
00:45:270 (1,2,3,4) - Also 1/8 repeater. Please don't undermap.

In general I don't think the hitsounds are loud enough, it might just be me.
(oh god the tags, why does every brain power have them)

For places where the rhythm changes ( 00:35:505 (1,1,1,1,1) - here, 00:57:623 (1,1,1) - here, 02:30:134 (1,1,1) - here.) I think the hitsounds should be louder so theres more feedback when you hit them, adding claps when theres 3 notes worked alright for me. Didn't feel right to not have any when playing.
00:35:858 (1,1) - These two notes aren't following anything in the song, maybe remove them and add a single/slider at 00:35:917 (2) -
01:28:314 (1,1,1,1) - This stopped the momentum too much for me when I played it.
When you're splitting up the rhythm in the chorus you often have the next notes quite close to where the stream ended. ( 01:41:727 (5,6) - 01:52:825 (5) - 03:28:024 (4,5) - ) I think generally since it is 6 stars, you can afford to put these farther away.
02:42:487 (1,2) - these and 02:48:134 (1,2) - these sliders don't look too good when they are overlapping
02:48:134 (1) - This slider doesn't look very good imo.
02:59:418 (1,2,3,4) - This group doesn't look good, maybe add more spacing between 2 and 3?
03:25:163 (1) - add whistle
03:27:764 (3,4,5) - Mentioned it before, but this group doesn't play that nicely.
Going back to the point where you didn't have enough feedback on different bpm. 03:41:116 (1) - This whole section, mainly the notes in 1/3, I personally found quite hard to play the first time round, and they are very quiet on the default hitsounds. Theres not enough feedback to them, you can hear the song but not the hitsound because of how soft it is. I'd say you could just switch it to the normal sampleset, but thats down to you.

Overall you've got a fairly consistent mapping style through which is nice.

Exile- helped again with the map, we looked at the drunk mapping sections in the songs and agreed to change quite a few things, so it looks really smooth now. Thanks man!

This goes for a lot of the other jumps in this intro section too, with jumps that don't really show up in the song. It's hard to balance properly though, because it can easily get boring.
00:12:623 (2,3,4,5) - 4 and 5 are incorrectly snapped, it should be a 1/3 and not a 1/4, like at 00:35:211 (1,1,1,1).
00:43:682 (4,1) - This really could do with being made into a jump, moving the start of the stream down. This also gives better spacing to move the timing of the corner at 00:44:123 (4,5,6), which doesn't really fit with the music when there's no corner at 00:44:476 (8,1,2).
01:10:682 (2,3,4) - Incorrect rhythm, there are only 1/3 notes here.
01:14:917 (1,2) - The 1/8 beats aren't in the song. I suggest making a closely spaced stream here instead.

05:24:988 (2,1) - Spacing is a bit bizarre, try putting (2) closer to (1) like 05:27:763 (2,1) - would be a good example. It's a mirrored pattern in both examples, which is what I'm following, so I don't think that'll be changed all that much.
05:53:601 (1,2,1,2) - Close notes in general, I would suggest you do something similar to 05:27:763 (2,1) That would be crazy hard I think :o
Overall: Remember that there is a play area and make sure notes are not cramped in one spot, it becomes hard to read if this occurs. I would suggest you do the same for the spacing on streams. I do a lot of perfect overlaps intentionally for reading challenges in the wub section, but I understand that some sections can get a bit cramped :3

  1. why the "fined tuned" difficulty settings? I see no reason to use HP5.6 and OD9.2, moreover, I don't think you should use more than OD8.5 for this BPM

  3. you have a shitton of redundant green timing sections, if you're gonna use the same SV, volume and hitsound set, there's no reason to add a timing section
  4. combo 3 and 4 are too similar, if you're gonna keep them anyway, make them one combo apart
Ok, this will be more of a general mod than a precise one, there are a lot of conceptual and aesthetic flaws

  1. Very poor sense of spacing, some parts have big jumps which add a lot of momentum, followed by very tight sliders, for example: 00:06:447 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2) -
    there's absolutely no reason in the song to slow down like that, this is just frustrating to play
  2. Be careful when using linear flow with irregular spacing, this kind of flow is very unnatural to play because it forces the player to actively try to control their momentum, for example: 00:10:329 (3,4,1) -
    try it yourself, with whatever is your equipment, try to quickly and accurately aim the pattern I linked above, once on (4), you feel that you have to stop awkwardly and focus on aiming again even though you'll be going in the same direction
    This kind of flow is better used with constant spacing, or to emphasize some uncommon audio patterns which require additional attention from the player
  3. Use more different DS for your streams, they're the same everywhere, don't play naturally and are a pain to aim most of the time. If the part is slow, use a small DS for your streams, if it's directly after a jump, do a stack first to help the player control his aim then progressively rebuild the momentum by increasing the DS
  4. be consistent in your NCs, have a clear guideline for when you want to place one, I'd recommend just once every one or two measures, with occasional ones on unusual or paired jumps, changes in rhythm (1/4 to 1/3 etc) or in SV
  5. A bit less general but I wanted to point out this: 00:23:388 (1,1,1,1) -
    You have very defined clearly cut notes here in the song, but the flow you mapped stays very fluid, which doesn't fit the song at all here, you want to cut the flow like the notes are cut in the song, I'd suggest using 0.5x SV with big jumps, or maybe even just circles instead of sliders
  6. The obligatory aesthetics mod, don't curve your sliders too much (ex: 00:23:652 (1) - ), unless they're long enough to form a loop:
    also blankets, and be consistent with the tight ones, you want to pick a certain spacing and stick with it for consistency in your design
    Try to visualize the parts of your map a bit more before actually mapping them, try to structure your patterns in advance and not just go object after object, this will help you choosing the right slider shape for example, instead of just thinking "which shape have I not done for a while now?", it's okay to spam the same shape, provided it fits the structure you chose.     This is something that'll come with experience though.
    Also you're not accentuating the right notes in the chorus, for ex: 01:42:594 (5,7) - , 01:37:565 (3,5) - , or accentuating the wrong ones: 01:36:871 (2) -
  8. More personal than objective, but I prefer short 1/3 streams to be less straight, with tighter angles to help focusing on aiming each of the circle individually. Helps with accuracy a bit, it's more from a alternating playstyle point of view though, if you're a singletapper, you might not really get my point.
That's a nice brick of text, but try to keep all of this in mind when mapping, map a lot more, experiment, don't try to make THE map every time, just try out things and see how they go

I've explained already that I mod based on how I find the song fun to play in a PM (I think), so I'm gonna focus on that more rather than aesthetics, though I may find some aesthetic things to nitpick every now and then.

From there on, it's up to you on whether you consider my mod worthy or not. Anyway, lets get to it.

Either way, I think that the notes as they are can be a little distracting and don't necessarily contribute to how you want to read the pattern. While playing it I misread quite a few times because I was assuming they'd be 1/2 but got slammed with 1/3 into slider into jump lol.

Also I think 00:13:034 (1) is quite unfriendly to reach after playing through that part a bit. I recommend something like this after messing with it a little: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4786275

00:37:505 (1,2,1,2) - I think those notes are slightly lower for where you're going with them. 00:38:035 (2,1) feels rather sharp to jump towards. The music itself is rather repetitive in nature, and since you haven't gradually nudged major changes in spacing (the closest I can think of is galvenize maps but I literally can't be arsed to give an example right now), I think changing the spacing of that particular jump would be something you're interested in. 00:50:035 (6) - The song being repetitive as it is and how you've mapped it makes that play a lot... weirder than I thought. The spacing between the other notes and this one seems a little weird as it's just one change in a constant part per se. I dunno if that's intentional or not, but it played a little weird to me. However, it's probably not too much in the grand scheme of things.

01:36:698 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Subjective opinion here, but I think you should've that part entirely in 1/2 sliders to match the vocals at that point. Fits better with the music in my opinion alongside making the aimy motion required here match the music more. Just my opinion, once again. This tends to show up later as well, so I'm not going to repeat myself on this.

01:52:738 - I think you add a strong slider finish to the end of the nearby slider, mess with the slider velocity to make the end one 1/2 note later or add a note here to emphasize the distorted vocals, in all honesty.

03:09:556 (3,4) - I think four sliders in that section fit a lot more when you play it since it fits the beat more than the timings you already have. That sort of change up while in a stream section fucked my rhythm sense a lot more than I thought because it's not exactly the same structure as the stream section has. I get that this part follows vocals a little bit, but I think it could follow it better with the slider idea. Feel free to disregard it if you don't agree.

03:54:642 (2,3,4,5) - I think this part is better in 1/3 and then you swap to the 1/4 burst right after after listening to it quite a bit.

And uh wow. I had less to say on it that I thought I did LOL. Anyway hope my mod helps in anyway, I guess.

00:12:623 (4,5,1,1,1) - Make this (4,5,6,1,2) or (1,2,3,1,2). Either way, I think that the notes as they are can be a little distracting and don't necessarily contribute to how you want to read the pattern. While playing it I misread quite a few times because I was assuming they'd be 1/2 but got slammed with 1/3 into slider into jump lol. Did 1,2,3,1,2, let's see how it goes <3

Also I think 00:13:034 (1) is quite unfriendly to reach after playing through that part a bit. I recommend something like this after messing with it a little: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4786275 I moved the other note a bit closer instead :)

00:37:505 (1,2,1,2) - I think those notes are slightly lower for where you're going with them. 00:38:035 (2,1) feels rather sharp to jump towards. The music itself is rather repetitive in nature, and since you haven't gradually nudged major changes in spacing (the closest I can think of is galvenize maps but I literally can't be arsed to give an example right now), I think changing the spacing of that particular jump would be something you're interested in. Maybe something like this would be better? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4786317 I moved the first 4 jumps a bit up wards and rotated the 3rd and 4th note a little bit upwards :3, not 100% as your suggestion, but fairly close.

00:50:035 (6) - The song being repetitive as it is and how you've mapped it makes that play a lot... weirder than I thought. The spacing between the other notes and this one seems a little weird as it's just one change in a constant part per se. I dunno if that's intentional or not, but it played a little weird to me. However, it's probably not too much in the grand scheme of things. I did the exact opposite and added ANOTHER triangle a bit later, and reworked a section (A lot of changes, let's just say that <3)

01:36:698 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Subjective opinion here, but I think you should've that part entirely in 1/2 sliders to match the vocals at that point. Fits better with the music in my opinion alongside making the aimy motion required here match the music more. Just my opinion, once again. This tends to show up later as well, so I'm not going to repeat myself on this. Nah I don't agree, since I do it on the 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th section in the chorus. ^^

01:52:738 - I think you add a strong slider finish to the end of the nearby slider, mess with the slider velocity to make the end one 1/2 note later or add a note here to emphasize the distorted vocals, in all honesty. Wow, bad mistake from my part, changed! (Looks a lot better now <3)

03:09:556 (3,4) - I think four sliders in that section fit a lot more when you play it since it fits the beat more than the timings you already have. That sort of change up while in a stream section fucked my rhythm sense a lot more than I thought because it's not exactly the same structure as the stream section has. I get that this part follows vocals a little bit, but I think it could follow it better with the slider idea. Feel free to disregard it if you don't agree. Yeah, I don't agree for one reason: The vocals are goin' in 1/2's for that slider.

03:54:642 (2,3,4,5) - I think this part is better in 1/3 and then you swap to the 1/4 burst right after after listening to it quite a bit. Nah music is following the beat here, but I NC'ed the first note of the stream to help the player out a little.

And uh wow. I had less to say on it that I thought I did LOL. Anyway hope my mod helps in anyway, I guess. Trust me, it really did!

Yo, I'm not gonna try for approval on this anymore, since I've discovered a new reoccuring thing with the way I make mapsets, and it personally wouldn't fit to rework it into this map. I'm truly sorry.
For @Feb, if you still intend to do that m4m thing, please mod the AESTHETIC parts of this map instead (It's incomplete, but mod what has been made so far.)

i don't like how you skip downbeats all the time for weaker sounds. 04:21:260 (5) - is an example of alotttttt thus I won't mention them that often since i see the reason behind it, but I'd recommend to use the downbeat instead.
