So. You may have come across that in beatmaps the ''loudness'' of hitsounds differ. In certain maps this volume might be too high/low for some sound settings or skin hitsounds.

I propose that you may set a custom sample volume in the options while being able to ignore the beatmap specific sample volume.

This will help people keep their hitsound volume the same on all maps without having to adjust the sound settings.

If this is not possible, i propose that we can change the sample volume of beatmaps without the map having the need to update back the the normal sample volume.

EDIT: ((PLEASE READ!!)) I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST HITSOUNDS OR WHAT THEY DIFFER, ALL I WANT IS HOW LOUD THEY SOUND SO I DONT HAVE TO ADJUST MY SOUND SETTINGS

I've wanted this for so long. Certain parts of some songs it gets too quiet and I have a harder time finding the rhythm.

Some songs are louder than others by nature. People who hitsound things take this in mind and adjust the volume so that their hitsounds have a good volume for the song on music:sound 1:1.
If you use your own hitsounds and decide to ignore the map's hitsounds it's your own fault. Setting a custom sample volume in the options does NOT solve your problem as it 100% will mess up other maps that are fine with the current setup.

You can also just change your hitsoundvolume with the scrollwheel or activate custom hitsounds for that specific map only if you notice that it doesn't fit with yours. That's really easy to do you know?

Hitsounding (and therefore volume) is a huge part of the mapping process of a beatmap.
As Endaris said, mappers take care of that since it is really important in gameplay and it would be like saying that mapper A isn't able to hitsound properly.

Sorry, but I'd rather avoid this kind of feature (as well as all the other "beatmap settings modifiers" that are around).
Becoming a (good) mapper isn't easy and seeing people throwing away your work isn't nice :/

I agree with what's said above
I personally invest a lot of time hitsounding. If people just change values it's actually useless for me to do it.
Also, on soft parts (start of felys for example) a different volume should be played then loud parts (the stream-part in felys)

mfw someone with 20% music and 60% hitsounds tells me that my hitsounds are too loud and he can't hear the song
