Just wanted to drop two things:
a.) I will be updating when I get home, which will probably be somewhere around 23:00/00:00 UTC.
b.) Please take a look at the rules/regulations again before entering; I've now had a few people tell me that they can only play weekdays, which is not an option here. You need to be able to play weekends. The only opportunity for play on a weekday is Friday, and that is for qualification stages and potentially the round of 128 only (scheduling pending). If you cannot play on weekends, you will be unable to participate.

Hey guys, so, a couple things:
- thanks as usual to Pope Gadget for actually helping with updates, greatly appreciated.
- CHANGE IN TIMING: I am closing sign-ups on the5th of February 4th of February on 11:59 EDT (or 4:59 AM UTC on February 5th). Signups have been stagnating quite a bit now, and there's no reason to prolong them anymore. The rest of the tournament's schedule has not changed -- qualifiers will still be released on the 11th.
- as mentioned in the previous poll, qualifiers will be over a two week period. I don't find this to be particularly advantageous in either direction, as the added flexibility will allow me to place people more effectively, and additional exposure to the maps is not going to give anyone an edge (if anything, waiting too long might cause bad habits to form - consider this carefully).
- Staff has been finalized; I've only got four referees, but I think that I'll be able to run it in a way where the referees don't get completely overexhausted. If necessary, I will come in and referee as well.
- A certain someone has been added as a map selector. More about that in the next update, which will more than likely be this evening.

Alrighty. I've updated to this point. I also have the honor of welcoming one half of the mastermind team responsible for putting together the excellent 7K MWC mappool together -- and now have a way to direct half of the blame off of myself. Everyone, welcome (or despise) -Kamikaze- to the map selectors team.

I'd like to join, utc +1, in weekends preferably 1pm-10pm, friday from 5-6pm to 10pm, though I might be unavailable on weekends, that's not dependant on me sadly
@-Halogen if you change the tournament shedule you should also edit the original post (it still says sign-ups close at feb11th

As an aside, sign-ups close in roughly 16.5 hours.

Also are the maps going to range from 4K-7K? Since I'm seeing people on the list that aren't good at 4K and are good @ 7K / the latter

I just remembered something with that...... There's a lot of high-ranked mania players entering this tournament..... But nothing says their force is 4k! Some may suck at 4k, so us, little noobs, can have a small chance. (very small)
