Hi guys. It's about time we purge some of the people making this game less fun and fair than it should be. I am compiling a list of those who have cheated and making it publicly available. Please check this list and give any feedback you feel is relevant in this thread only. Every user in this list will be banned in the near future.

List of known cheaters

If you are on this list and don't believe you should be, please only reply in this thread. Do not PM me (I will ignore you) nor any other BAT/admin (they cannot do anything).

I will be continuing to add users to this list and start banning on a rolling cycle, all going well. Hopefully we can keep the majority of foul-play out of osu! this way :).

Update:
  1. All users listed in this list were hand-picked by me. They are not at all based on user reports.
  2. I have a lot more to sort through and this list may grow over time.
  3. While I am confident there are no false positives in this list, I may be wrong. If you believe there is no way you could have cheated, do as I have already said and post in this thread. Give any further information you can which may be relevant and I will investigate your specific case.
  4. Do not post in this thread unless your username is on either list and you are providing further information.

Wierd to see some friends here.

I'll hope that they were involved in that Flashlight hack incedent and this can be overlooked since it got resolved.

I see your point, but I'm making one too.

Let's say some people using that hack were merely interested and not thinking of consequences.

I actually downloaded that hack myself and it's still somewhere in my Downloads folder. I was interested too, but too lazy to use it since I wasn't going to use it for taking #1 places by cheating and kind of understood that osu! will be patched to make it not working soon.

So, might be a warning rather than a ban?

I'm probably judging people by myself too much though.

If they believe they should be an exception to a permanent ban, they should post in here. I am not making any blanket exceptions and only under very special circumstances (that we can all agree on) will they be excepted.

..at least now we know who plays pure FL and who cheats. Nice to see some great flashlighters I know, such as Gomo Psivarh, is not on the list. I wish to see more pure flashlighters out there :)

Ravand is an user, which uses FL cheat etocera. He told me bout this and show me song where he got 1# with cheat, also he uses spin hack. I asked him of curiousity does can he send me it(for curiousity, I didn't use it) and he sent me. Tested offline. Hell, he's really cheater

Also I'm on BONUS LIST.

I know why, probably when peppy disabled FL, then I dloaded this FL hack, and tested(for curiousity, I realised that FL is disabled), yeah score didn't submit, but peppy received info. Yeah I'm sorry peppy ;(.

I believe your case was actually a game bug, so I'll remove your name for now. You were only on the warning list, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Osu is really fun and i really dun wan to get banned from it, if i did something wrong point it out for me and tell me if i can do something to repent for my mistakes. @_@

Pro and Cheater is different.
If a user makes god-like records with no cheating, he is pro.
But cheater isn't. Just doing that once, he becomes cheater, regardless of what he did before.

Plus, I think that video wouldn't be his evidence D:

A video means nothing. I have records of you cheating in the (recent) past, with absolutely no doubt. If you actually admit to it, you might even get a better outcome, but this is totally up to you.

I did try to remove the new kiai effect cause it is too annoying, I just didn't realize thats cheating and I was unable to remove the effect. This is ALL what I have done.I really didn't think about cheating. If any of my results that you suspect about, I can make a live video record. I won't beg for a second chance if this is the case. But all I want to say is I really didn't mean to cheat.

For the time being I have removed the "warning" list (which I had in a second post), as I am not confident in some of the names I had on there (those that have replied especially; there was a time when osu! had a bug which meant false reports). Sorry for the confusion.

A friend of mine told me about this topic so..

I never used any kind of cheats, always worked hard for my score. What I'am exactly accused of? Btw if I had wanted to cheat, then I would have taken several # 1 rankings .. ridiculous.

You are using modified files to play without the flashlight penalty, as recent as today. If you don't think this is the case, I need you do contact me in-game and let me spectate you while you play with flashlight enabled. Same goes for BattorA (except I am 100% sure about them) and LirsRosso (contact me on game chat if you want to check things out).

@DJNightmare I have looked into your case and am willing to remove you from the list for the time being. I'll contact you if i need further information.

Yes, I used cheet FL once, when has seen replays Dimka. I think what he realy pro, yet hasn't downloaded hack and hasn't checked up O_o Sorry
